June 14, 2018 – Executive search firm Pedersen & Partners has opened a new board services practice group. Alberto Bocchieri, partner and co-head of Iberia & Latin America, has been named its new leader. He previously served as a partner with Neumann International prior to joining Pedersen in 2011.

The new practice group consists of board advisors and executive search consultants with a track-record of board level and corporate governance mandates as well as related roles, such as general counsels, CFO, risk, internal audit, compliance & regulatory. It provides searches for non-executive directors and executive directors as well as board evaluation services.

Mr. Bocchieri has a wealth of senior level, C-suite, and board level executive search experience both in developed and emerging economies. In addition to general management positions, he specializes in corporate governance sensitive assignments such as financial, legal and compliance, auditing, risk, regulation and supervision, serving large listed corporations, family-owned business or privately-held companies.

Just recently, the firm opened an office in Zürich and named Thomas Heeger as the country manager for Switzerland. Mr. Heeger has been working in executive search since 2009. He was previously the managing partner for Switzerland for boutique firm DELTACON Executive Search &.Recruiting, where he focused on the life sciences sector.

Just recently, it named Mark Paviour as its country manager for the U.K. He joined Pedersen & Partners from Egon Zehnder, where he worked for 24 years in the U.K. and the Middle East. In November, it expanded with the addition of Simon Mansfield to its London team as a client partner within its industrial practice and global head of its defense search practice. Mr. Mansfield has decades of in-depth expertise in the developing and emerging markets, recruiting board members for global firms.

In September, the firm appointed Keith Labbett as a client partner in Canada. Over the course of two decades, Mr. Labbett has placed hundreds of executive leaders and built teams across all management functions, focusing on upper management to C-level positions. Previously, Mr. Labbett spent two years as partner with DHR International in Toronto.

The firm also named Lydia van der Meulen as a client partner in the Netherlands. With extensive search execution background in the life sciences, healthcare, industrial, food and financial services industries, Ms. van der Meulen has conducted over 200 searches for start-ups, mid-sized organizations and multinationals.
