Metin Mitchell Acquires Russian Recruiting Outfit

November 23, 2015 – Dubai-headquartered executive search and management advisory firm Metin Mitchell & Company has acquired Russian search firm Chuvaev Consulting. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition will allow Metin Mitchell to extend its client coverage to Russia, Ukraine and the Central Asian Republics in addition to its current reach in the Middle East and North Africa.

Chuvaev Consulting is a human resources boutique that offers executive search and management assessment to a wide array of industries.

In September, Metin Mitchell expanded its staff with the addition of Muna Awwadova as a senior client partner. She has a particular remit for extending the firm’s capabilities in the life sciences, industrial and public sector sectors.

There’s been increasing M&A activity in the executive recruiting field in recent months, including AMN Healthcare Services signing an agreement to acquire healthcare-focused executive search firm B.E. SmithOptions Group acquiring Whitney Correlate’s businessHeidrick & Struggles acquiring Co Company and Korn Ferry entering into a definitive agreement to acquire Hay Group.
