Major Lindsey & Africa Names Veteran Global Marketing Head

January 15, 2016 – Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA) has named Jennifer Silver as executive director and global head of marketing and communications. She will be based in the firm’s Boston office. In her new role, Ms. Silver will be responsible for the strategic marketing direction for both MLA and Allegis Partners, its sister company focused on executive search.

She has more than 25 years of marketing and communications experience having worked for several executive search firms. Most recently, Ms. Silver served as a partner and vice president of marketing and communications at CTPartners. Prior to that, she was the director of marketing communications for Korn Ferry. She began her career with Heidrick & Struggles, where she spent 13 years as the firm’s director of marketing and communications.

“As Major Lindsey & Africa and Allegis Partners continue to grow and expand our business lines, we identified a need for a stronger, more cohesive and global marketing platform,” said Simon Robinson, president of Major, Lindsey & Africa and Allegis Partners. “Jennifer brings to us a wealth of experience in the field of executive search and we will look to her for guidance as our companies continue to evolve.”

Last summer, MLA named Kim Myers as its head of public relations and communications. She leads internal and external communications for MLA and affiliate Allegis Partners. Her role includes media relations, press engagement, pitching articles and other media opportunities, along with external positioning and messaging for each practice group.
