Lucas Group Seeking Chief People Officer for Denver-Based Joint Venture

January 9, 2018 – Executive search firm Lucas Group has been retained to lead the chief people officer search for the new joint venture formed by affiliates of KSL Capital Partners and Henry Crown and Company. Kyle Lehman, managing partner, human resources executive search, is spearheading the assignment.

The enterprise is a lifestyle and outdoors company with designs on shaping the ski and mountain resort industry globally. Headquartered in Denver, the combined entity represents close to $3 billion in enterprise value, with room for growth through additional acquisitions.

The new chief people officer will be responsible for 20,000 employees across the U.S. and Canada.

“Lucas Group is thrilled to support this new joint venture that is driving change for the entire ski industry,” said Mr. Lehman. “The role is a great opportunity for an HR leader to establish this joint venture as an employer of choice in the Denver market. Lucas Group has a long history of placing high-performing CPOs and we are confident that we will deliver the dynamic talent this position requires.”

Since joining Lucas Group, Mr. Lehman has placed more than 100 HR professionals. His interests go beyond single placements, he said, to creating and fostering entire HR teams for organizations. Mr. Lehman’s clients range from technology start-ups to Fortune 100 corporations.
