Kennedy Executive Search Names Technology Practice Leader

March 30, 2017 – Kennedy Executive Search & Consulting, a network of independent executive search firms, has named Wayne Redovian as leader of its technology search practice. In his new position, he will coach and guide Kennedy’s executive search operations around IT leadership roles across North America and Europe.

Mr. Redovian, managing partner and vice president of operations and marketing, has been with Integrated People Solutions since 2006. He brings deep sector knowledge and experience with over 25 years in human resource leadership roles at several multi-billion dollar corporations, including U S WEST / Qwest; Dex Media; and ServiceMagic / InterActive Corporation.

“Technology drives continuous creativity, improvement and evolution, reducing the cost and time for a product, service or idea to come to market,” said Mr. Redovian. “To really exploit the opportunities, you have to go beyond the CIO, to engage with other C-suite executives, many of whom now possess a growing influence on technology-related decisions.” Today’s technology is expanding at an extraordinary pace, he said, “making it important to follow industry influencers and thought leaders and to stay in the loop and learn new trends and best practices. This is bread-and-butter to us.”

“Technology drives the world today and yet in recruitment, it is a very distinct, and even more complex area,” said Jorg Stegemann, chief executive officer. “We needed someone who knew the IT environment inside and out and we have found that person with Wayne Redovian. He has led key strategic functions in recruiting, executive search and staffing as well as workforce planning, HRIS, compensation, process and training/development.”

“Wayne brings the leadership and understanding needed to take us to the next level to become an even more credible search partner in the technology industries,” Mr. Stegemann added. “His recruiting focus has been within technology, placing hundreds of IT professionals as well as key executive level placements.” He has, in fact, placed chief information and technology officers in Fortune 500 companies, small to mid-cap businesses as well as non-profit organizations.

On the Move

Kennedy Executive Search offers what it calls “360 talent management,” from executive search to coaching during a placement’s integration period, and a host of talent and leadership consulting services. The firm services clients across Europe and North America, with offices in Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Denver, Frankfurt, London, Milan, Paris and Prague.

At the beginning of the year, Kennedy Executive Search partnered with Ikelosz in Budapest to strengthen its presence in Central Eastern Europe. George Kobelrausch, Ikelosz’s founder, has been working in the search sector since 2005 after a career spanning blue chip companies, including Unilever. He has a track record of over 10 years in executive search and has recruited senior leadership functions in Hungary and other countries in CEE. He is an experienced business coach and certified consultant of the Innermetrix personality assessment system. His team includes Klara Gorog, a senior consultant with 20-plus years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, who heads up its life sciences practice.

This past fall the firm formed an alliance with Frisenberg J. & Associates, a recruiting boutique based in Monaco founded in 2001 by Caroline Frisenberg. Ms. Frisenberg has a 10-year track record in executive search; she has recruited for senior level leadership functions in 17 European countries, the Middle East and South Africa.

Kennedy also recently partnered with Integrated People Solutions (IPS), a Denver-headquartered boutique executive search firm founded in 2000 by Eric Pringle. From animal pharmaceuticals to telecom technologies, from non-profits to waste services providers, IPS helps companies build and maintain innovative people strategies to support their business goals.
