Mr. Riddell will also augment Johnson’s board & CEO and private equity practices, bringing deep expertise as a director and having run a private equity firm himself. “I’m incredibly excited by Warren’s appointment as he is one of the country’s leading advisors to the professional services sector on strategic growth opportunities,” said founder and managing partner Jason Johnson. “Johnson can now offer our professional services firm clients support in executing their growth strategies whether that involves a merger, the acquisition of a practice, a team lift-out or the appointment of a lateral partner.”

“Johnson is the ideal platform to assist professional services firms with their strategic growth requirements,” said Mr. Riddell. “We are the leading executive search firm to the professional services sector, with a track record of over 100 partner placements and numerous successful firm and team mergers, so I am excited about joining forces with a firm that has such deep passion for and competence in the sector.”

Johnson is a consulting firm working in board search, executive search, leadership successions and growth strategies. In November, the firm named Gregory Dohnt as partner and leader of its industrial & infrastructure and chief financial officer practices. Mr. Dohnt brings over two decades of experience with listed executive search firms, both in Australia and internationally. He has expertise in capital intensive sectors such as utilities, property, manufacturing and infrastructure. He has placed chairmen, non-executive directors, CEOs and the full range of key functional leadership roles into client organizations. With this background, he will augment Johnson’s digital & technology officer practice.
