IIC Partners Appoints Global Chair; Adds New Board Members
October 29, 2018 – IIC Partners Executive Search Worldwide has elected Todd Hohauser as global chair and appointed new members to its board of directors.
Mr. Hohauser has previously served on the IIC Partners board of directors as vice chair for the Americas region and was leader of the Industrial Practice Group. He is currently CEO of Harvey Hohauser & Associates in Detroit.
IIC Partners said that Mr. Hohauser was “nominated to the role of chair by the membership in recognition of his passion for IIC Partners and his strong commitment to the executive search industry.”

Mr. Hohauser likewise praised the firm’s board of directors. “It is exciting to sit in a room with this board, each one an expert and leader in their practice and geography,” he said. “For years, they have honed their abilities to serve their clients not only in their countries but around the globe. Directors Named
IIC Partners also welcomed new directors. Renee Baker Arrington was elected as director, Americas. Ms. Arrington is senior vice president and director at Pearson Partners International, located in Dallas. She is frequently invited to speak on topics related to the role of the CIO. Ms. Arrington offers clients over 20 years’ experience in retained executive search. She excels in recruiting senior executive talent for Fortune 500 companies, private-equity-backed businesses and not-for-profit organizations.
Jesus Castillo was also elected as director, Americas. This is his second term on the IIC Partners board. He is a partner at Contevenca in Venezuela and serves on the Americas council of the AESC. Mr. Castillo has over 20 years of experience in the executive search field, having conducted numerous assignments in Venezuela and other countries in Latin America, for local and multinational companies.

Matthias Gerstlauer was elected as director, EMEA. Based in Luxembourg, Mr. Gerstlauer is a founding partner of Marlière & Gerstlauer Executive Search. He has a background as a management board member of a leading data processing provider, and since 2008 he has delivered executive search solutions through his own company for various business sectors in and around Luxembourg.
Conor McClafferty was appointed to the board as director, EMEA. Mr. McClafferty is a partner at MERC Partners based in Dublin, where he focuses on executive and non-executive searches across industry, including financial services and technology. He has a background in strategic communications.
Three board members were elected as vice chairs. Nairouz Bader was appointed to the role for EMEA; Sally Stetson, the Americas; and Anne Stuckey, Asia Pacific.
Continued Global Expansion
Over the past year, IIC Partners has seen a wave of growth. In June, the organization added the Orcid Partnership in Liverpool, England as a member firm. Orcid Partnership became the organization’s third office in the U.K. and will strengthen IIC Partners’ consumer & retail practice across the EMEA region. The firm is a senior executive and non-executive search and leadership consultancy. For over a decade, the firm has worked in a range of consumer, retail, B2B and service sectors supporting the recruitment and development of senior talent. Judy Atchison is the founding partner.
Earlier this year, IIC expanded with the addition of Istanbul-headquartered search firm OneWorld Consulting as a member firm. Established in 2007, OneWorld Consulting works closely with clients at all stages of the executive talent lifecycle. The firm works with local and international companies across a wide range of business sectors and has a team of 10 led by Joan O’Rourke and Tim Bright.
