HARTZ Search Recruits VP of Talent Acquisition for INTEGRIS Health

April 16, 2025 – After an extensive national search, Charlotte, NC-based HARTZ Search has recruited Melissa Trujillo as vice president of talent acquisition of INTEGRIS Health. Mary LaFrancois and Macy Thompson led the assignment.
Ms. Trujillo was previously the director of talent acquisition for Ardent Health Services, where she led the recruitment strategy for non-clinical and allied health positions across the enterprise. She aligned talent acquisition initiatives with organizational goals and drove process improvements that reduced time-to-fill metrics and improved retention rates.
In her new role, Ms. Trujillo will develop and execute recruitment strategies that attract, engage, and retain top talent, ensuring INTEGRIS Health’s competitive edge in the market. She will collaborate with other senior leaders to ensure that the talent acquisition strategy aligns with the broader business goals and sets a clear direction for the talent acquisition team, fostering a culture of excellence and driving continuous improvement in recruitment processes. Ms. Trujillo will build and maintain a robust talent pipeline, create a seamless and engaging recruitment journey, and leverage data analytics to drive informed decisions.
INTEGRIS Health is the state’s largest Oklahoma-owned not-for-profit health system. Mike Hartz is president and CEO of the firm. Mr. Hartz has used his background in customer service and business operations as well as his knowledge of national healthcare market trends in recruitment, practice management, and physician services to solidify his track record in recruiting for healthcare systems, facilities, and physician practices ranging in size from small rural to large medical centers.
Ms. Thompson connects healthcare systems and hospitals with senior-level talent. She is responsible for finding prospects in the market and guiding individuals through each stage in the search process. Ms. Thompson has been with Hartz Search since 2020, where she began as an executive search coordinator. Since then, she has been a contributing factor to over 40 executive placements.

Ms. LaFrancois is an executive search consultant with Hartz Search. Before joining the firm, she led human resources teams for healthcare systems for 20 years. Over the course of her career, Ms. LaFrancois has recruited and coached dozens of executives. She has a talent for building relationships, connecting with others, and forming positive relationships.

HARTZ Search recently recruited Eunmee Shim as the president of OSF HealthCare, Saint Joseph Medical Center in Peoria, IL. “As president, Eunmee will lead OSF St. Joseph in aligning with the overall strategy of OSF HealthCare,” said Carol Friesen, CEO for OSF HealthCare’s eastern region. “She will be responsible for directing all internal operations and helping OSF evolve when necessary to ensure that high-quality and cost-effective healthcare continues to be delivered to the patients we are blessed to serve. Shim will carry forward a culture of collaboration and integration that provides a safe mission partner and patient care environment. She will continue to embrace the Catholic healthcare heritage and support the Sisters’ Mission of serving with the greatest care and love.”
Ms. Shim joins OSF Saint Joseph Medical Center from Adventist Healthcare where she rose through leadership over the last 13 years. Most recently, she was the president of Fort Washington Medical Center, where she led the hospital from a Leap Frog F to Leap Frog A hospital in five years while expanding hospital capacity during a pandemic.
