BroadView Talent Partners Tapped by Baltimore Community Lending for President/CEO Search

June 16, 2026 – BroadView Talent Partners was recently retained by Baltimore Community Lending, Inc. (BCL) to lead in its search for a new president and CEO. Tracy McMillanRobyn Quinn, and Donna Young are leading the assignment. The CEO is the strategic, operational, and external leader of Baltimore Community Lending, responsible for driving the organization’s next era of growth and community impact. The CEO sets a clear vision, safeguards financial strength and portfolio performance, and leads a high -performing team dedicated to mission -aligned lending and equitable development.

As the public face of BCL, the CEO will build influential relationships across Baltimore’s civic, philanthropic, banking, and policy networks, elevating the organization’s visibility and presence. This leader will diversify capitalization, advance innovative lending strategies, and uphold BCL’s commitment to equity and inclusive economic opportunity.

The next leader will bring strong lending, underwriting, and risk-management expertise (banking background ideal; CDFI/CDC preferred). They should be able to navigate funding headwinds, understand small-business and real-estate lending cycles, and balance financial discipline with mission-aligned lending. Strong capital-raising and funder relationship skills is important for this role.

The organization is looking to find a visible, personable leader who builds trust quickly and shows up in the community. They should be familiar with Baltimore’s civic, philanthropic, banking, and neighborhood ecosystems; if not, must be able to establish credibility and strong local relationships rapidly.

Candidates must be experienced in motivating and developing diverse, multigenerational teams. The search firm is seeking a collaborative, non–top down manager who strengthens internal operations, improves customer service, builds the next layer of leadership, and supports organization-wide succession planning.

Experienced Non-Profit Leaders

Mr. McMillan is managing partner and CEO of BroadView. He has over 25 years of experience providing executive search, retention solutions and leadership advisory services to clients. He has developed a strong focus within the affordable housing, non-profit and middle-market sectors, and established a track record of well-placed, long-tenured C-suite executives. Prior to starting BroadView Talent Partners (formerly HCGA Consulting Partners) in 2015, Mr. McMillan served as the vice president of global talent acquisition for the NBA. Previously, he spent five years as a managing director at Diversified Search Group.

Ms. Quinn, vice president and senior research associate, is an experienced research and recruiting professional with a demonstrated history of accomplishments within the executive search and corporate recruiting sectors. Her areas of industry expertise include non-profit, healthcare and fundraising/development.

Ms. Young manages BroadView Talent Partners’ administrative, organizational, search and candidate logistical support. She specializes in project management, customer relationships, marketing, social media, client/corporate communications, graphic design, and sales. Ms. Young was a founder/partner of Interrobang Design, a design firm based in NYC, with clients such as Random House, Tourneau, and Unilever.

Freestore Foodbank Search

BroadView Talent Partners recently assisted in the recruitment of Kreg Keesee as the new president and CEO of the Freestore Foodbank. “Kreg brings a proven track record of building high-performing teams and turning strategy into action,” board chair Dwinelva Zackery said. “We are confident he is the right leader to guide Freestore into its next chapter.”

Most recently, Mr. Keesee served as interim chief financial and operating officer at The Springer School and Center. His previous leadership roles include executive positions at Cold Jet, Michelman, Sun Chemical Corporation, and The Procter & Gamble Company.

Freestore Foodbank is the largest emergency food and services provider for children and families across Greater Cincinnati, Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Southeast Indiana, distributing 47 million meals annually to low-income individuals and households. The Freestore Foodbank supports 611 community partners in 20 counties throughout Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana, including food kitchens, homeless shelters, emergency food pantries, social service centers, and program sites.
