Hanold Associates Places Chief Inclusion & Diversity Officer for Kroll

February 9, 2022 – Chicago-based Hanold Associates HR & Diversity Executive has placed William Rolack as chief inclusion and diversity officer for Kroll, a leading provider of services and digital products related to valuation, governance, risk and transparency. He is based in New York. Val Lopez, Sandra Peña and Ivy Arlia led the assignment for the search firm. Mr. Rolack, who previously served as a vice president, global diversity, and inclusion at Workforce Logiq, has upwards of 20 years of experience leading diversity and inclusion and human resources management strategies. He is charged with reinforcing Kroll’s focus on “the power and purpose of inclusion,” said Hanold Associates.

Mr. Rolack will work closely with the Kroll leadership team and other stakeholders to develop strategic programs aimed at accelerating inclusion and diversity in the workplace and the commercial impact those programs have on high performing teams that drive economic value, innovation, and business integration.

In Mr. Rolack’s role at Workforce Logiq, he was credited with strengthening the company’s culture of belonging and advising clients looking to develop and improve a diverse workforce. He has also served as senior director, workforce strategy, diversity, inclusion and strategic alliances for Major League Baseball’s (MLB) Office of the Commissioner. Earlier in his career, Mr. Rolack was director of global marketplace diversity and inclusion for Adecco Group North America, where he executed the firm’s D&I strategy for over 8,000 employees in the U.S. and influenced over 40,000 worldwide through global D&I council initiatives.

Mr. Hanold, CEO and managing partner, founded the search firm in 2010. Previously, he served as a managing director with Russell Reynolds Associates, where he led the firm’s global human resources officer practice and was a member of the board of directors and CEO practices. Before that he held talent and recruiting positions with Whirlpool, McKinsey & Company, Deloitte, and State Farm.

Ms. Lopez is a partner with Hanold Associates. She specializes in recruiting executive-level HR and diversity, equity and inclusion leaders. She has over a decade of experience in rapid-growth, private equity-backed SaaS businesses, specializing in M&A integrations and change management. She is especially strong in translating strategy to action, particularly with respect to managing change initiatives and designing and implementing DE&I programs. Prior to joining Hanold Associates, Ms. Lopez was global head of employee engagement and inclusion/VP of DE&I at Cision.

Ms. Peña, a partner with the search firm, focuses on the recruitment of human resource professionals across industries including learning and development, talent management, HRBP, total rewards, talent acquisition, organizational development, and diversity and inclusion. Previously, she was an executive recruiter for Korn Ferry where she specialized in the recruitment of chief financial officers and finance executives. Before Korn Ferry, Ms. Peña was senior director of business development and account management for Latin America and the U.S. for the Corporate Executive Board in its information technology practice.

Ms. Arlia, an associate, focuses on recruiting HR and diversity, equity and inclusion leaders across industries and geographies.
