BroadView Talent Partners Recruits CEO for the Freestore Foodbank

June 1, 2026 – BroadView Talent Partners has assisted in the recruitment of Kreg Keesee as the new president and CEO of the Freestore Foodbank. Christie Angel, Melania DaSilva Deaver, Donna Young, and Robyn Quinn led the assignment. “Kreg brings a proven track record of building high-performing teams and turning strategy into action,” board chair Dwinelva Zackery said. “We are confident he is the right leader to guide Freestore into its next chapter.”
Most recently, Mr. Keesee served as interim chief financial and operating officer at The Springer School and Center. His previous leadership roles include executive positions at Cold Jet, Michelman, Sun Chemical Corporation, and The Procter & Gamble Company. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mr. Keesee brings a deep commitment to the Cincinnati region and the people we serve in his capacities as: member, Cincinnati Regional Chamber board of directors; fundraising and strategy committees, United Way of Greater Cincinnati, and former board chair, Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA).
In his new position with Freestore Foodbank, Mr. Keesee will build and strengthen a high -performing executive team, inspire staff and volunteers, and cultivate a culture of accountability, innovation, and measurable impact. As the organization’s chief ambassador, he will elevate Freestore Foodbank’s visibility, mobilize diverse stakeholders, and forge transformational partnerships with donors, civic leaders, policymakers, and community partners. Above all, Mr. Keesee will unify staff, partners, and the broader community around an ambitious vision: a hunger -free region where every individual and family can thrive.
Freestore Foodbank is the largest emergency food and services provider for children and families across Greater Cincinnati, Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Southeast Indiana, distributing 47 million meals annually to low-income individuals and households. The Freestore Foodbank supports 611 community partners in 20 counties throughout Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana, including food kitchens, homeless shelters, emergency food pantries, social service centers, and program sites.

Tracy McMillan is managing partner and CEO of BroadView. He has over 25 years of experience providing executive search, retention solutions and leadership advisory services to clients. He has developed a strong focus within the affordable housing, non-profit and middle-market sectors, and established a track record of well-placed, long-tenured C-suite executives. Prior to starting BroadView Talent Partners (formerly HCGA Consulting Partners) in 2015, Mr. McMillan served as the vice president of global talent acquisition for the NBA. Previously, he spent five years as a managing director at Diversified Search Group.

Ms. Angel is the leader of BroadView’s Midwest office. She has spent three decades engaging her community, building relationships, and advising leaders, all while transforming programs and organizations. Ms. Angel’s prior experience includes five years as president and CEO of YWCA Columbus. Some of Ms. Angel’s professional contributions involve working with a host of public officials and their administrations. Supporting the transition teams for Columbus mayor Andrew J. Ginther, former mayor Michael Coleman, and former Ohio governor Ted Strickland, she as an advisor to city and state leaders.
Ms. DaSilva Deaver, principal, has nearly 20 years of experience building and aligning talent functions to support strategic corporate goals for a variety of organizations. Passionate about connecting clients with top-tier candidates to build inclusive teams and diverse perspectives, she works with all sizes of organizations from start-up to Fortune 500.
Ms. Young manages BroadView Talent Partners’ administrative, organizational, search and candidate logistical support. She specializes in project management, customer relationships, marketing, social media, client/corporate communications, graphic design, and sales. Ms. Young was a founder/partner of Interrobang Design, a design firm based in NYC, with clients such as Random House, Tourneau, and Unilever.
Ms. Quinn, vice president and senior research associate, is an experienced research and recruiting professional with a demonstrated history of accomplishments within the executive search and corporate recruiting sectors. Her areas of industry expertise include non-profit, healthcare and fundraising/development.
