Focus Search Acquires Charlson Partners
March 28, 2016 – Focus Search Partners, the executive search division of Vaco, has acquired San Francisco-based search firm Charlson Partners. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The move enables Focus Search to expand into the technology sector.
Charlson Partners conducts senior executive search assignments for enterprise technology and service companies. Its client base includes some of the largest enterprise technology platforms, as well as some of Silicon Valley’s better known equity-owned and venture capital-backed organizations.
Founder Adam Charlson has recruited senior leaders for a wide variety of companies in the space, including Adobe Systems, Cisco, Cornerstone OnDemand, Convergys, DataPipe, Experian, FICO, Google, HP, Infor Global Solutions, Informatica, JDA Software, Microsoft, PayPal, Progress Software, Salesforce.com, SAP, Sitel, TeleTech, and Verint, among others.
Mr. Charlson has over 20 years of recruiting experience, having served as a senior partner and global software practice leader at Korn Ferry, and as a search consultant with Spencer Stuart.
