ECI Group Adds New Member Firm in Poland

November 13, 2018 – ECI Group, a global network of independent executive search firms, has added Meissner & Partners in Poland as its newest member firm.

Meissner & Partners specializes in executive search and leadership consultancy, including executive coaching and executive development.

The firm covers various industries including pharmaceutical, media, public/cultural institutions, financial, industrial, educational, private equity, FMCG and healthcare.

Maja Meissner is the founder and managing partner of Meissner & Partners. She specializes in executive search and executive coaching. She gained her experience as a partner in ARETES Consultants. She also is the managing director at HIFU CLINIC Prostate Cancer Treatment Centre and chairman of the program board of the Foundation for Women Entrepreneurship.

“ECI Group is proud to strengthen its presence in Eastern Europe and to further extend its international reach with another quality Partner,” the firm said.

Polish Market

The Polish team offers services such as: executive search, leadership assessment, talent management, legal executive consulting and legal management.

Poland’s economy is considered to be among the more resilient of the post-communist countries and is one of the fastest growing within the E.U. Having a strong domestic market, low private debt, flexible currency and not being dependent on a single export sector, Poland is the only European economy to have avoided the late-2000s recession. The Polish banking sector is the largest in the Central and Eastern European region.

Expanding Into Poland

“Famous for its hospitality, entrepreneurship and investor-friendly climate, Poland is a country of great opportunity and considerable economic potential that continues to attract production transfers, shared services firms, and R&D centers,” said executive search firm Odgers & Berndtson.

Those attributes have contributed to the growth of Poland’s search firms in this fast, expanding economy. Here is a sampling from the Hunt Scanlon Media archives.

London-headquartered executive search firm SpenglerFox has named Maciej Kotowicz as country manager for Poland. “Maciej will be based in Warsaw, one of our firm’s strategic hub locations and drive further growth in Central Europe as part of our overall business strategy.” Mr. Kotowicz spent the past 12 years as a partner at Heidrick & Struggles in Poland.

Odgers Interim, the U.K.-based executive interim division of Odgers Berndtson, has a new office in Warsaw. Mr. Kaluzynski has over 25 years’ experience in the recruitment industry. Before working with Odgers in 2002, he co-founded his own executive search firm, placing candidates in senior roles across Poland, Hungary, Russia and the Czech and Slovak Republics.

Amrop, a partnership of recruiting firms operating from 83 offices in 57 countries throughout Asia, EMEA and the Americas, has added Lukasz Kiniewicz as a principal in Warsaw. Mr. Kiniewicz is a member of Amrop’s global professional services and technology & media practices.
