BroadView Talent Partners Tapped by Community Shelter Board for CFO Search

April 13, 2026 – BroadView Talent Partners has been selected by CSB (Community Shelter Board) to lead in its search for a new chief financial officer. Christie Angel, Steven Hatchett, Marshawna Williams, and Donna Young are leading the assignment. The CFO serves as a key member of the executive leadership team at CSB responsible for leading the organization’s financial strategy. This leader provides strategic financial guidance to the president and CEO, leadership team, and board of directors while ensuring the organization maintains strong financial stewardship of the public and private resources entrusted to it. CSB operates within a complex funding environment that includes federal, state, local, and philanthropic investments supporting housing and homelessness services across the Columbus and Franklin County region.
The CFO oversees financial planning, accounting, grant financial management, budgeting, and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining the integrity of financial systems and processes.
Candidates should have demonstrated expertise in accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit leadership, with the ability to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance across complex, multisource funding environments Those applying must have a proven track record of leading financial strategy within complex, multi-entity or regionally coordinated organizations, including deep experience with grant-funded and reimbursement-based models, HUD, Continuum of Care (CoC), and UFA compliance, and management of restricted and unrestricted funding streams
In addition, candidates should have experience leading financial functions through organizational change, strengthening infrastructure, modernizing systems, and embedding best-practice financial and operational disciplines, while building and developing high-performing teams.
Community Shelter Board is a non-profit organization based in Columbus, OH, that leads the coordinated community response to homelessness across Franklin County and the Central Ohio region. Prior to starting BroadView Talent Partners (formerly HCGA Consulting Partners) in 2015, Mr. McMillan served as the vice president of global talent acquisition for the NBA. Previously, he spent five years as a managing director at Diversified Search Group.

Ms. Angel is the leader of BroadView’s Midwest office. She has spent three decades engaging her community, building relationships, and advising leaders, all while transforming programs and organizations. Ms. Angel’s prior experience includes five years as president and CEO of YWCA Columbus. Some of Ms. Angel’s professional contributions involve working with a host of public officials and their administrations. Supporting the transition teams for Columbus mayor Andrew J. Ginther, former mayor Michael Coleman, and former Ohio governor Ted Strickland, she as an advisor to city and state leaders.
Mr. Hatchatt serves as vice president, senior associate. For almost 20 years, he has worked in both the non-profit and higher education space focusing on early and mid-level talent. Prior to starting at Broadview Talent Partners in 2021, Mr. Hatchatt worked at the first and only Historically Black College/University in Austin, Texas. His contributions include developing a diverse pool of talent and building strong relationships with corporate partners interested in cultivating intentional DEI partnerships.
Ms. Young manages BroadView Talent Partners’ administrative, organizational, search and candidate logistical support. She specializes in project management, customer relationships, marketing, social media, client/corporate communications, graphic design, and sales. Ms. Young was a founder/partner of Interrobang Design, a design firm based in NYC, with clients such as Random House, Tourneau, and Unilever.
