BroadView Talent Partners Seeking New CEO for Bayview Hunters Point Foundation

December 5, 2025 – BroadView Talent Partners was recently tapped by Bayview Hunters Point Foundation (BVHPF) to lead in its search for a new CEO. Tracy McMillan, Steven Hatchett, Marshawna Williams, and Donna Young are leading the assignment. This executive is responsible for the overall strategic, operational, and financial leadership of the organization, ensuring that our organization is strong and stable, and that our mission is effectively carried out through highest-quality programs and services.
Reporting to the board of directors and leading an executive staff team, the CEO will oversee all departments, build strong partnerships, drive fundraising efforts, and advocate for policies that align with our vision and values. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and inspirational leader with a deep commitment to social justice, cultural humility, and nonprofit excellence.
Candidates should have strong financial acumen in non-profit management, including audits, contracts, and compliance with city, county, and state funders as well as the ability to balance fiscal stability with programmatic priorities. They must have proven experience managing budgets of $10M+ and overseeing large teams; ability to manage complex operations, navigate politics, set organizational strategy, and diversify funding streams.
Demonstrated success in fundraising, including raising funds beyond government contracts and cultivating donors, foundations, and private partners is also desired. Candidates should also have a proven track record of board engagement and development, strengthening governance, expanding membership, and driving active fundraising participation.

Mr. McMillan is managing partner and CEO of BroadView. He has over 25 years of experience providing executive search, retention solutions and leadership advisory services to clients. He has developed a strong focus within the affordable housing, non-profit and middle-market sectors, and established a track record of well-placed, long-tenured C-suite executives. Prior to starting BroadView Talent Partners (formerly HCGA Consulting Partners) in 2015, Mr. McMillan served as the vice president of global talent acquisition for the NBA. Previously, he spent five years as a managing director at Diversified Search Group.
BroadView Talent Partners Assists Gateway Film Center with CEO Search
BroadView Talent Partners has placed Charly Bauer as the new president and CEO of Gateway Film Foundation. He will lead nationally recognized art house Gateway Film Center. Mr. Bauer, who begins on November 3, was selected following a comprehensive nationwide search led by Broadview Talent Partners. He succeeds longtime Gateway Film Foundation leader Chris Hamel, who will step down on October 30 after more than 17 years of visionary service. Under his leadership, Gateway Film Center became one of the nation’s most respected film exhibition spaces, known for its diverse programming, innovative partnerships and commitment to community impact.
Mr. Hatchatt serves as vice president, senior associate. For almost 20 years, he has worked in both the non-profit and higher education space focusing on early and mid-level talent. Prior to starting at Broadview Talent Partners in 2021, Mr. Hatchatt worked at the first and only Historically Black College/University in Austin, Texas. His contributions include developing a diverse pool of talent and building strong relationships with corporate partners interested in cultivating intentional DEI partnerships.
Ms. Williams also serves as vice president, senior associate. She has a rich background spanning nonprofit management, higher education, and affordable housing. As part of BroadView Talent Partners, Ms. Williams partners with mission-driven organizations to identify and secure top-tier talent, ensuring alignment with their values and long-term goals. Her career journey has encompassed key leadership roles, including chief operating officer, director of strategic initiatives, and director of philanthropy & communications.
Ms. Young manages BroadView Talent Partners’ administrative, organizational, search and candidate logistical support. She specializes in project management, customer relationships, marketing, social media, client/corporate communications, graphic design, and sales. Ms. Young was a founder/partner of Interrobang Design, a design firm based in NYC, with clients such as Random House, Tourneau, and Unilever.
