AltoPartners Adds New Member Firm in Sweden

February 11, 2025 – AltoPartners, an international alliance of boutique executive search and leadership consulting firms, has added Stockholm, Sweden-based executive search and leadership solutions firm Headlight International AB as its newest member firm. Led by Peter Gullström and supported by experienced Swedish search partners, Headlight International AB boasts a robust multi-national client base across various industry sectors in Sweden. “Identifying and onboarding a new partner is a meticulous process,” said Sonal Agrawal, AltoPartners global chair. “It requires extensive due diligence to ensure we uphold the high standards of integrity, quality, and authenticity that our clients expect from AltoPartners. Headlight International AB not only shares our values but also brings deep local knowledge and insights into the Swedish market, which is a significant advantage for our clients worldwide.”
“We are delighted to join AltoPartners and thereby get access to a global network of like-minded search professionals,” said Peter Gullström, founder and managing partner at Headlight International AB. “Our membership will clearly be beneficial for our internationally oriented clients and we look forward to contributing to the forthcoming expansion of AltoPartners in both Norway and Finland.”
Headlight was founded in 2000 as a new alternative on the Scandinavian executive search market. Today, the firm’s seven partners focus on executive search but also provide interim management solutions. They work closely with local and international companies of all sizes and in all industry sectors.
Sweden is the 16th-richest country in terms of gross domestic product per capita. The service industry accounts for about 85 percent of jobs in the area. The near total absence of heavy industry (and fossil fuel power plants) makes Stockholm one of the world’s cleanest cities. The last decade has seen a significant number of jobs created in high technology companies there. Large employers include IBM, Ericsson and Electrolux. Stockholm is Sweden’s financial center. Major Swedish banks, such as Nordea, Swedbank, Handelsbanken and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken, are headquartered there, as are the major insurance companies Skandia, Folksam and Trygg-Hansa.
“Building on a year of remarkable growth in 2024, which saw the inclusion of new member firms in Spain (Leaderland Iberia S.L), Ireland (Cronin Partners International Search), UAE (EVRIMA), and Japan (Hayashi Consulting Co. Ltd), AltoPartners continues its upward trajectory into 2025,” the search consortium said. “With the addition of member firms in Brazil (Evermonte Executive Search) and Sweden in January 2025, our global footprint now spans 64 offices in 37 countries across six continents. The partners at Headlight International AB have held senior executive positions across various industries and functional areas, acquiring deep industrial insights, leadership skills, and an extensive network.”

With 64 offices in 37 countries, AltoPartners maintains a strong presence in the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific. The organization was established in 2006 by a group of entrepreneurial companies.
Abu Dhabi and London-Based Member
Last year, AltoPartners added Evrima, an executive search and leadership solutions firm with offices in Abu Dhabi and London, as a member firm. Led by Karla Dorsch, Evrima specializes in buy-side financial services, with a client base comprising asset managers, private banks, investment companies, sovereign wealth funds and family offices. Sonal Agrawal, global chair for AltoPartners, said: “Evrima’s area of expertise complements our partners in Dubai and opens considerable scope for synergistic growth in the UAE and due to the scope and depth of Ms. Dorsch’s network, further opportunities across Europe and North America. Ms. Dorsch is a respected and well-known figure in the financial services sector and a seasoned executive search practitioner. She and her team will be an asset to our global financial services practice.”
Ms. Dorsch, who is based in Abu Dhabi, said that she and her team were ideally placed to help international firms looking to join the migratory and investment influx to the Middle East, particularly to the UAE and Dubai. “It’s an exciting time to be working in the Emirates,” Ms. Dorsch said. “The UAE’s foreign direct investment boom and national reputation uplift mean that companies have access to some of the world’s best talent. The region has excellent infrastructure and a deserved reputation for ease of doing business that attracts highly qualified and talented professionals worldwide. We have helped many global clients establish a base here, and we expect to be doing a lot more of that in 2024.”
