AltoPartners Adds New Member Firm in Ireland

April 29, 2024 – AltoPartners, an international alliance of boutique executive search and leadership consulting firms, recently named its first-ever partner firm in Ireland. After an exhaustive search, Dublin-based Cronin Partners International Search joined the global partnership. Founded by Claire Cronin in 2003, Cronin Partners has a track record based on its work among the Irish diaspora, as well as serving local and international businesses operating in Ireland and globally.

“Ireland is a strategic location that has become even more important post-Brexit, as the English-speaking gateway to Europe with its well-established financial center that plays host to some of the world’s leading multinationals,” said Sonal Agrawal, the global chair for AltoPartners. “We are very pleased to welcome a strong and credible partner in Ireland to boost our strong European presence, and in Cronin Partners, we have found the perfect culture fit.”

“The strength of our global partnership is down to the high caliber of our local member firms,” said Ms. Agrawal. “Our partners are selected with great care to ensure that we maintain the high standards of integrity, quality, and authenticity that clients expect when contracting with a member of AltoPartners. In Claire and her partners, Catherine O’Sullivan and Conor Jones, we have found exactly the right mix of deep local roots, entrepreneurial flair, and a passion for excellence that is the hallmark of our global partnership.”

“We are delighted to join forces with AltoPartners, uniting our expertise to deliver outstanding executive search solutions worldwide,” said Ms. Cronin. “Our Irish origins and deep reach into the Irish diaspora, combined with AltoPartners international footprint, will strengthen our client offering, enhancing our ability to deliver in an increasingly interconnected business landscape.”

Ireland has a modern knowledge economy, focusing on services and high-tech industries and dependent on trade, industry, and investment. The country’s famous drinks industry employs about 92,000 people and contributes billions to the Irish economy, making it one of its biggest sectors. It supports jobs in agriculture, distilling, and brewing. But a growing financial services sector base is also important, employing some 35,000 people and contributing billions in taxes annually to the Irish economy. Ireland is the seventh largest provider of wholesale financial services in Europe.
