AETHOS Consulting and Greger / Peterson Associates Merge
January 26, 2016 – Executive search firms AETHOS Consulting Group and Greger / Peterson Associates have combined forces to serve the hospitality industry. Greger / Peterson will begin operating immediately under the AETHOS Consulting Group name.
“Greger / Peterson has a sterling reputation in the hospitality industry, as well as in leisure, entertainment and media,” said AETHOS managing director and CEO Keith Kefgen. “Coupled with our global presence and wide range of advisory services, the merger will benefit our global clients with additional resources and increased senior level expertise.”
“Not only do we gain Ken Greger, John Peterson and Matt Peterson as business partners, we add office locations in Portland and Los Angeles, which is a critical aspect of our growth strategy,” said Mr. Kefgen
“After 25 years as a boutique firm focused on delivering superb results for all concerned, our primary focus in considering this move was to determine if our firms had similar values regarding service, quality and integrity,” said co-founder Ken Greger. “Before agreeing to the merger, both firms applied the same level of diligence we apply when conducting a search; we invested serious time to get to know one another.”
AETHOS Consulting is a human capital advisory firm focused on the hospitality sector, specializing in executive search, compensation consulting, performance management, culture creation and organizational effectiveness. The firm is headquartered in Boulder and maintains offices in New York, London, Melbourne, Philadelphia, and Dallas.
After taking a massive hit during the Great Recession, employment and hiring within the hotel/hospitality industry has begun to rebound. In the last year, according to one set of survey metrics, the industry added 527,000 jobs (2.6 million since 2004). That number is forecasted to increase in 2016, as global tourism and traveling in general are expected to rise.
