The Moran Company Recruits CEO for The Arc of New Mexico
September 25, 2026 – The Moran Company, an executive recruitment firm that specializes in the non-profit sector, has placed Tracie Fletcher as the new executive director of The Arc of New Mexico. Senior search consultant Bruce Scott led the assignment. “Tracie brings a 25-year track record of leadership in non-profit, government, and community organizations,” The Arc of New Mexico said in a statement. “Her work has centered on strengthening families, supporting rural communities, building partnerships, and helping organizations grow in ways that better serve the people who rely on them.”
Ms. Fletcher brings a broad background in non-profit leadership, operations, fundraising, and organizational development. Before joining The Arc of New Mexico, she served as executive director of Timberline Adult Services and previously held roles as operations manager with Community Resource Center, practice director with Vail Valley Plastic Surgery and Skin Care and Smile Doctors, director of development with Summit Advocates, and executive director with Lake County Government.
In her new role, Ms. Fletcher is responsible for overseeing administration, programs, public policy and advocacy, and executing the organization’s strategic vision. She will ensure The Arc of New Mexico’s relevance to the communities it serves, provide inspirational action-orientated leadership to continually enhance the organization’s capacity to carry out its mission, and ensure accountability of the organization to its diverse constituents.
The Arc of New Mexico has served people with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1955. Our mission statement maintains “The Arc promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes.” The Arc serves over 1,000 individuals annually through a current revenue budget of $2.2 million and 22 employees.
The Moran Company, based in Leawood, KS, specializes in searches for non-profit leadership, including executive directors, fundraising/development directors, hospital foundation directors, and other senior executives. Bill Moran founded the search firm in 1996. He has worked on more than 70 non-profit searches. He brings a rare combination to the search sector having spent 10 years as senior fundraising staff and 12 years as a successful fundraising consultant serving more than 100 clients.
Mr. Scott has 34 years of total executive experience serving people with developmental disabilities. He was founder of a local trade association, served as board member and president of the state rehabilitation association, and is connected nationally through United Cerebral Palsy. He led a United Cerebral Palsy affiliate for 16 years.
Newly Appointed CEO
The Moran Company recently announced that Mike English joins Bill Moran as a partner of the firm and has been named the company’s CEO. Mr. Moran will continue his role as president of the company he established more than 30 years ago. Since then, The Moran Company has led more than 300 non-profit executive searches and remains committed to recruiting top talent for organizations and associations across the nation.
