The Moran Company Leading CEO Search for the Oklahoma State Medical Association

June 4, 2026 – The Moran Company, an executive recruitment firm that specializes in the non-profit sector, was recently retained by the Oklahoma State Medical Association (OSMA) to recruit the organization’s next CEO. Jon Rosell is leading the assignment. The OSMA board of trustees seeks an energetic, experienced, and highly skilled CEO to work collaboratively with the board, staff and membership to lead and support all areas of the organization.

The CEO will provide leadership in the development and implementation of the association’s statement of vision, mission, and goals, and the corresponding strategies, plans, and budgets. They will approve plans and budgets as part of the annual planning and budgeting cycle and presents recommendations to the board of trustees.

Candidates must have a minimum five years of successful executive leadership experience. Preference will be given to demonstrated leadership in professional medical associations and the Certified Association Executive credential. Undergraduate degree required, but a graduate degree preferred. Ability to attend frequent morning, evening, and weekend meetings required.
