Shilton Sharpe Quarry Joins Forces With Austria-Based Legal Recruiter
June 22, 2016 – Shilton Sharpe Quarry (SSQ), an international legal search consultancy, has joined forces with Vienna-based executive search firm lawyers & more [L&M].
SSQ has worked in Austria and the wider central and eastern European region for some time but through this formal relationship the business is looking to increase its activity by working with lawyers & more to place internationally qualified lawyers in Austria. The relationship will cover the private practice market, recruiting for law firms, as well as recruiting lawyers for leading corporates across commerce and industry and financial services on the in-house side.
Since 2010, lawyers & more has specialized in executive search for the legal sector; the firm has expanded recently to recruit across tax, finance, compliance and forensic services.

SSQ has a team of global consultants with experience in providing legal search and recruitment services for a broad range of international and domestic law firms, as well as companies and banks in the U.K., Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Asia, Australia, the U.S., New Zealand, the Middle East, South Africa, Switzerland, Russia and central and eastern Europe.
The firm continues to expand globally. Just recently, it opened an office in Dubai. Senior manager Matthew Bold is responsible for the new location. Mr. Bold has over eight years of legal search and recruitment experience in the Middle East and has been with SSQ since 2013. He previously served as managing consultant, legal search, with Stanford Resourcing Limited. He is joined in Dubai by SSQ manager Jeremey Mead.
SSQ also expanded its search staff in Europe recently with the additions of Anne Pichon in Paris and lawyer Filippo Mazzotti in Milan. Ms. Pichon, who joined the firm as an associate, recruits in-house lawyers and legal professionals at all levels of seniority and for all industries. She focuses on growing the firm’s presence across the in-house legal recruitment market in France. Mr. Mazzotti is a consultant in the private practice and in-house teams at SSQ, recruiting lawyers on behalf of a broad range of international and domestic law firms in Italy.
