Russell Reynolds Associates Expands in Munich and Hamburg

December 30, 2019 – Executive recruitment firm Russell Reynolds Associates recently closed the year by adding Immo Futterlieb as managing director in Munich and Moritz Trebeljahr as executive director in its Hamburg office.

“We are very happy to have been able to strengthen our team by having Immo and Moritz join us,” said Ulrike Wieduwilt, Russell Reynolds Associates’ German country manager. “With our new colleagues, we plan to continue growing Russell Reynolds Associates in 2020.”

Mr. Futterlieb spent his career with highly regarded recruiting companies and for the past six years operated as partner at Heidrick & Struggles. He focuses on energy, infrastructure, sustainability, the Internet of Things (IoT), innovation, mobility and digital transformation. Having spent several years in Silicon Valley, he also has a deep understanding of the requirements of start-ups. Mr. Futterlieb joins the energy and natural resources practice at Russell Reynolds Associates, focusing on C-suite searches. Recent work has included the recruitment of chief innovation officers, chief transformation officers and chief digital officers.

Dr. Trebeljahr, who holds a doctorate in history, previously worked for Egon Zehnder for more than 10 years, where he specialized in recruiting general counsels and chief compliance officers. He joins the corporate officers practice at Russell Reynolds Associates, focusing on legal and compliance, finance and HR roles. In addition, he will handle supervisory board and corporate governance issues.

Russell Reynolds Associates is a global leadership advisory and search firm. Its 425-plus consultants in 46 offices work with public, private and non-profit organizations across all industries and regions.

Growing Global Firm

Russell Reynolds Associates recently expanded with the addition of veteran HR executive Katherine Henry as a senior member of the firm’s global corporate officers sector, leading the human resources officers practice in Australia. She is based in Melbourne and advises clients on matters pertaining to organizational transformations, talent acquisition and development. Previously, Ms. Henry was with ASX-listed Bellamy’s Organic and UXC, where she held chief human resources officer roles.

The New York City headquartered firm recently added two other HR executives to its staff. In April, it added Helena Fyda as a consultant in its corporate officers practice. Based in Houston, Ms. Fyda works closely with C-suite-level executives to help drive greater effectiveness and transformative business partnering for corporate functions, particularly the human resources function. Prior to Russell Reynolds Associates, Ms. Fyda worked for nearly 20 years at BP, where she was most recently vice president of human resources for BP America.

Earlier this year, veteran HR executive Eren Rosenfeld joined Russell Reynolds as chief human capital officer. She leads the firm’s global talent strategy, new talent development and human resources functions. Ms. Rosenfeld was previously the global head of talent development at BlackRock.

“Eren’s experience in creating and executing global talent strategies at some of the world’s largest financial institutions to realize business outcomes is critical for organizations to adeptly respond and compete within the fast pace of transformation in business today,” said CEO Clarke Murphy.
