R Norris Orms

R. Norris Orms is Vice President of Vetted Solutions, working with clients nationwide from the firm’s Chicago offices. Orms brings an exceptional track record of successful organizational leadership, notably as executive vice president and chief operating officer of Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), the largest nonprofit healthcare association in the United States focused on information technology. Earlier in his career, he also held various leadership posts with the National Safety Council. In addition to holding an MBA degree, he is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and has earned board certification in healthcare management. He also is recognized as a fellow of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and is a Certified Association Executive (CAE). His unique mix of successful organizational management and understanding of the special operational dynamics and leadership needs of the association and nonprofit communities has made Orms a highly valued advisor and source of leadership talent among a wide circle of organizations, beginning with the healthcare and information technology sector but extending well into other organizations and interests.
