Michele M. Smith has more than 20 years of experience as a sales and marketing professional with proven expertise in the IT Solutions industry and in working with senior executives in Fortune 500 companies. She has developed and led efficient marketing strategies that increased sales ability to achieve business objectives in complex engagements. In addition, she has been recognized many times for her proactive and holistic approaches in executing strategies across organizational structures. Prior to joining Vetted Solutions, she worked at OnX Enterprise Solutions in various marketing management positions where she developed, had the leading role and delivered go-to-market plans for the Telecommunications, Healthcare and Financial Services industries including the management of events and campaigns specifically created to penetrate new markets. Earlier in her career, Michele worked for International Business Machines (IBM), where she spent 17 years working in various sales and marketing management positions. Highlights in her time at IBM include closing multi-million dollar sales engagements with C-Level executives in the financial and oil/gas industry, the creation, design and launching of IBM’s very first sales campaign marketed in Hindi to Asian Indian Doctors in the healthcare industry and the creation of a Life Sciences healthcare industry sales campaign that was adopted worldwide. Her efforts at IBM received several high level awards. Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art Education, K-12 from St. Thomas Aquinas College. She volunteers as Director of Public Relations for a nonprofit that teaches older adults, the underserved and those with a need to learn how to use computer technology.
