January 29, 2020 – Executive search firm ON Partners has expanded with the addition of Michael Lynch, a veteran search executive with more than 20 years of experience in the global technology market, as a partner in its San Francisco office.
Throughout his career, Mr. Lynch has placed CEOs, C-level and board executives in sectors that are increasingly turning to cutting-edge technologies such as renewable energy, autonomous vehicles, aerospace and defense, and medical devices. His clients have included Bloom Energy, DigiLens, Facebook, Infinera, Kulicke & Soffa, Lucid Motors and Micron Technology.

Mr. Lynch previously served as senior client partner for Korn Ferry, where he focused on the hardware-oriented segments of the firm’s global technology market sector. Before that, he co-led Spencer Stuart’s global clean technology practice and was a member of the firm’s technology, communications and media practice and supply chain practice.
Mr. Lynch earned a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Victoria in Canada and is a former registered professional engineer in the province of Ontario. After completing his MBA. at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management, he moved into management consulting with EDS and Accenture. He then served as vice president of operations at two early-stage start-ups before beginning his career in executive search.
With a primary focus on technology, energy/clean tech, consumer, industrial and the life science sectors, ON Partners recruits C-suite, board directors and senior executive talent for public and private companies, as well as venture capital and private equity firms. The firm’s consultants work from offices in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Menlo Park, CA, Minneapolis, MN and San Francisco.

A Growing Firm
Throughout his executive search career, Mr. Gasperino has recruited C-level, board and critical digital lifecycle roles ranging from customer outreach and acquisition, product development and user experience and analytics for companies at various stages of their development, from early stage start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. His clients span the technology, media and entertainment, consumer, financial services, life sciences and industrial sectors.
Mr. Gasperino’s search career spans more than 20 years. He joins ON Partners from Korn Ferry, where he was a senior client partner and managing director of the firm’s digital practice. Previously, he served as managing partner of the global digital practice for CTPartners, and head of Northeast operations for corporate information systems.
ON Partners also recently appointed Vicky Wilkens as chief marketing officer in its Atlanta office. With over 15 years of brand, digital and marketing experience for leading Fortune 500 brands across the technology, sports, media and entertainment sectors, she is expected to grow and expand the business and brand through innovative go-to-market strategies, client experiences and multi-channel marketing, the firm said. Previously, Ms. Wilkens was VP of global consumer and brand marketing at IBM and the Weather Channel.

ON Partners also recently added Tara Flickinger as vice president. Based in the Atlanta office, she works closely with clients to clearly understand their hiring needs and to ensure a smooth, efficient and successful search process, said the firm. The firm also hired Todd Wyles as partner. Based in the firm’s Dallas office, Mr. Wyles has a wealth of experience in retained executive search and joined the firm’s team of consultants, focused on the private equity sector. He has over two decades of experience in human capital advisory, management consulting, financial services and related professional services.
