Nexus Search Partners Recruits CEO for Charlotte Regional Business Alliance
March 17, 2025 – Nexus Search Partners, an executive search and advisory firm in Charlotte, NC, has recruited Robert McCutcheon as the new CEO of the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance (CLT Alliance). “Nexus Search Partners is committed to identifying leaders who create lasting impact,” said Thaddeus V. A seasoned executive with more than 35 years of leadership experience, Mr. McCutcheon brings a track record of business transformation, operational excellence, and strategic growth to the organization. He has held senior leadership roles at Fortune 500 corporations, mid-sized enterprises, and global consumer brands, most recently serving as president and CEO of North America for Husqvarna Group, where he led a multi-billion-dollar business unit to record profitability. Formerly, Mr. McCutcheon led the Americas division of Britax Child Safety as president and managing director.
Mr. McCutcheon’s appointment as CEO marks a turning point in the organization’s mission to enhance the region’s competitiveness on a national and global scale. In his new role, he will oversee the strategic direction of the CLT Alliance, leading initiatives that foster business expansion, investment, and regional economic growth. His extensive leadership experience across industries will be vital in accelerating Charlotte’s position as a premier business hub.
