Lucas Group Announces Promotions

December 19, 2017 – Executive search firm Lucas Group has announced the promotions of 19 associates to varying roles. The associates’ new titles include executive senior partner, senior partner and senior executive search consultant.

The promoted associates represent all seven of the firm’s practice groups: accounting & finance, human resources, IT, legal, manufacturing, military transition and sales & marketing.

The following associates were promoted to executive senior partner:

  • David Smachetti, accounting and finance – Los Angeles
  • Victoria Moore, human resources – Atlanta

The following associates were promoted to senior partner:

  • Jeff Evers, accounting and finance – Phoenix
  • John Ali, IT – Irvine
  • Megan Strelow, accounting and finance – Denver
  • Nicole Kennedy, legal – Houston
  • Victor Dates, military – Atlanta
  • Vince Stratte, sales and marketing – Chicago

The following associates were promoted to senior executive search consultant:

  • Andrew Federman, legal – New York City
  • Ashley Raschke, accounting and finance – Denver
  • Brooke Cadwallader, accounting and finance – Houston
  • Chris Kouns, human resources – Atlanta
  • Craig Moebus, military – Washington, D.C.
  • Eric Deines, accounting and finance – Houston
  • George Garcia, legal – Los Angeles
  • Janis Reid, human resources – Washington D.C.
  • Jesse Mencow, military – Washington, D.C.
  • Mickey Brewster, manufacturing – Atlanta

Promotions

Recruiters in the search industry continue to climb the ladder within their respective firms. Here’s a look at a few recent promotions at executive search firms from the Hunt Scanlon Media archives:

OverNorth promoted Renato T. Amador to partner. He is based jointly out of the firm’s Chicago headquarters and Washington, D.C. satellite location. Mr. Amador’s expertise revolves around recruiting transformational analytics, technology and human resources executives.

Quick Leonard Kieffer named Courtney Lada as managing partner. As the senior-most role within the firm, she is responsible for business development, strategic planning, project management, and team member training and advancement. During her tenure, Ms. Lada has closed more than 100 C-level searches.

Executive search firm Charles Aris Inc. promoted senior director of knowledge management Brian Styers to vice president of knowledge management and communications for his work in leading the executive recruitment firm’s efforts in research, marketing and digital strategy.

In July, Witt/Kieffer announced 10 promotions in its expanding search practices. Werner Boel, based in Atlanta, is now senior partner and leader of the firm’s legal services practice. Melissa Fincher, based in Columbus, OH, is now a senior associate in the firm’s education practice.

Executive search firm Lucas Group has promoted two key players to bolster its ranks. Justin Martinez was named managing partner and leader of the firm’s Chicago-based information technology practice and Aaron Silbert was tapped as branch practice manager to spearhead its HR business in New York City.

Chicago-based executive search firm TalentRISE promoted Allicia Hahn to partner. She joined the firm two years ago as managing director to build client relationships by delivering tailored recruitment solutions to the human resources, marketing, supply chain manufacturing and information technology sectors. She also has assumed a leadership role for the firm’s operational excellence initiative.
