Kingsley Gate Partners Expands in London

October 14, 2021 – Kingsley Gate Partners recently named Andy Davies as senior partner. He will be based in the firm’s London office.

“We are thrilled to have Andy join our team,” said Nancy Albertini, senior partner at the search firm. “Our continued global growth into this key market strengthens our ability to deliver above and beyond the expectations of our international clients. Andy is an extraordinary executive search leader, recognized throughout the industry for his ability to connect organizations with game-changing board executives.”

With more than 25 years of leadership and executive search experience working across a range of publicly quoted, private equity backed and privately owned businesses, Mr. Davies has worked primarily at the board level within the sectors of engineering & manufacturing, financial services, and technology. He is also a board advisor and has been running the U.K.’s preeminent development programs (for prospective FTSE directors) for over 10 years, in conjunction with three partner firms.

Prior to joining Kingsley Gate Partners, Mr. Davies was the managing partner and head of the CEO and board practice at executive search firm Stonehaven International. He has expertise in all leadership functions, including chair and NED, financial, legal and company secretariat, as well as CEO and CIO.

“I have been working with the boards of some of the world’s most innovative and disruptive companies for most of my career and have been questioning, for a while now, why my own industry was so resistant to change and creating world-class, proprietary technology,” said Mr. Davies. “Finally, I have found a firm that has dedicated itself to transforming the executive search industry, whilst promoting the core values that shape company culture and provide our clients with exceptional service.”

Founded in 2015, Kingsley Gate Partners recruits senior leadership for private equity and venture capital portfolio businesses and Fortune 100 companies. Headquartered in Dallas, the firm employs consultants and recruiters with expertise in private equity, life sciences, financial services, technology, manufacturing and professional services.

Kingsley Gate Partners continues to expand with the recent addition of three key leaders: Thomas Cope joined the firm as a partner based in Singapore. Ed Montoya comes to the organization as a partner in San Francisco. And David Mansbach is a new senior partner in New York.

Mr. Cope brings extensive experience specializing in executive recruiting for board and C-level executives within the global financial services industry. “We have been active in the Asia market for the past five years, and we are excited to expand our presence in Singapore to further serve our clients in the region,” said Kingsley Gate Partners’ office of the CEO. “Thomas brings extensive experience in banking, asset and wealth management, private equity, and organizational change, leadership and strategy.”

Kingsley Gate Partners Appoints Global Industrial Practice Leader

Kingsley Gate Partners recently named Arnaud Despierre as senior partner Asia-Pacific and global industrial practice leader. He is based in Singapore. “We are pleased to welcome Arnaud to the Kingsley Gate Partners team,” said the members of the office of the CEO. “Arnaud’s extensive experience in conducting cross-border projects in Asia, where he has been based for the past 15 years, and his leadership roles over the years support our global expansion plans in Asia and Europe.”

Prior to joining Kingsley Gate Partners, Mr. Cope led the financial services practice in Singapore for Odgers Berndtson, advising banks, asset and wealth managers, principal investors and their portfolio companies.

With over two decades of experience in executive search and private equity, Mr. Montoya specializes in the recruitment of financial officers, investment partners, operating partners, and portfolio company executives across all stages of enterprise development, within the technology and healthcare sectors. Prior to joining Kingsley Gate Partners, Mr. Montoya led the financial officers practice for Calibre One.

Mr. Mansbach has more than two decades of experience advising hospitality clients and has sold and led engagements in the areas of executive recruitment, compensation consulting and business strategy and implementation. Prior to joining Kingsley Gate Partners, Mr. Mansbach served as a managing director at AETHOS Consulting Group, a firm he co-founded in 2013
