April 28, 2021 – JM Search, a senior-level talent provider serving private equity investors, portfolio companies and Fortune 1000s, has assisted in placing Jim Warren as chief operating officer of independent asset manager Clark Capital Management Group in Philadelphia. JM Search fintech and financial services leaders Tom Figueroa and David Speicher led the assignment. “Jim’s depth of industry knowledge will help us continue to build scale and deliver asset management excellence to advisors and their clients,” said Brendan Clark, CEO of Clark Capital Management Group. “His experience as a strategic leader in our industry will be a great asset to Clark Capital, and we are excited to welcome him to the team.”
Mr. Warren brings with him nearly 30 years of experience in the financial services industry and joins Clark Capital from SEI, where he served as head of platforms and solutions of their global wealth management services division. During his over 20-year tenure at SEI, he was responsible for managing platforms across their wealth management, banking, investment management and hedge fund businesses.

Reporting directly to Mr. Clark, Mr. Warren will join Clark Capital’s executive team. He will also work closely with the firm’s technology team to continue streamlining and enhancing the firm’s capabilities. Mr. Warren’s hire comes during a period of steady, organic growth for the firm. Clark Capital has grown its assets under management from $3 billion in 2015 to a new all-time high, reaching over $23.6 billion as of Feb. 28.

Mr. Speicher has 20 years of experience advising financial services, financial technology and SaaS companies on identifying, attracting and retaining senior-level talent. He is a principal at JM Search, where he focuses on executing C-level and VP-level searches.

JM Search recently added Louis Montgomery as partner to lead its human resource and diversity officer practice.
