InterSearch Announces New Board Members
June 6, 2017 – InterSearch Worldwide, a global network of executive search firms, has expanded its board with the additions of Frank Schelstraete, Micheál Coughlan, Andrea Magnabosco and Samantha Robinson as directors.
Peter Waite will continue to serve as chairman of the board until May 2018. “I’m delighted that some of the next generation with excellent executive search experience have joined the new board of InterSearch,” he said. “They will definitely boost the business development of the whole organization and further support our expansion and digitalization with innovative ideas. Thanks to the experience of Samantha Robinson in the MEA region we will expand our presence in the booming Middle East and African countries. 2016 was a great year for InterSearch and the same trend has been continued in the first months of 2017. New Board Members
Mr. Schelstraete will become chairman in June 2018. He is the founding partner of Schelstraete Delacourt Associates, which he launched in 1990 after a previous career in human resources. He focuses on CEO and C-level positions, and his clients include large-size companies, family-owned and private-equity owned, in a variety of industries.
Mr. Coughlan, managing partner of InterSearch Ireland, started his career in executive search 20 years ago. He is the initiator of the InterSearch global life sciences & healthcare practice group, supporting clients and candidates within the pharmaceutical, medical technologies and healthcare sectors in more than 40 countries worldwide. Since 2013, he has also been a qualified trainer at the InterSearch Academy.
Ms. Magnabosco, senior manager at InterSearch Italy, has more than 15 years of experience in both national and international executive search industry managing assignments for top and middle management levels. She is the key account manager of several multinational corporations in their domestic and international recruitment in Europe. Since 2015, she has led the InterSearch global automotive practice group. Besides executive search, Ms. Magnabosco’s competencies include talent acquisition, global recruitment project management, scouting/mapping, HR management and company start-up.
Ms. Robinson, managing director at InterSearch Middle East, has a combination of emerging and mature market experience both in executive search and in-house recruitment with multi-national companies across Europe, Middle East and APAC. She is committed to the global diversity agenda to attract GCC Nationals, Arab & female talents into local client organizations. Ms. Robinson is also the practice group leader for InterSearch Worldwide financial services & banking.

Expansion
InterSearch Middle East recently opened an office on Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi and is the first international search firm to be licensed by Abu Dhabi Global Markets. The new location will be run by Andrew Bailey who has been appointed as general manager. The firm said this is the “ideal location to provide better support to a variety of government, semi-government and multi-national clients.”
Ms. Robinson said that being in close proximity to its clients and candidates is a central part of the firm’s Middle East strategy. “This further strengthens our ability to collaboratively deliver high quality customer experiences,” she said. “Andrew, who has spent much of his career working across EMEA, Turkey and Asia-Pacific, brings a wealth of executive search experience to InterSearch, having built comparable search businesses that service a multitude of sectors and industries.”
Mr. Bailey said the region continues to offer exciting opportunities for executives. “Aligning ourselves with organizations to assist with nationalization hiring will also demonstrate not only where we add value to our clients, but also add value to the local talent pool,” he said.
