HIEC Expands Industrial and Consumer and Retail Practices

September 26, 2022 – Global search firm H.I. Executive Consulting (HIEC) has named Todd Maners as a partner in the industrial practice and Ken Wilcox as a partner in the consumer and retail practice.

Mr. Maners has a background partnering with business leaders to effectively leverage talent to drive organizational transformation.  In addition, he also brings deep expertise in spearheading innovative human capital solutions designed to optimize organizational capability and deliver growth. Mr. Maners most recently served as managing partner of his own recruitment solutions business, Alpha Agent. Prior to that, he spent time as executive partner, U.S. operations for Solutions Driven; managing partner for Titan Talent Partners; and director of global talent acquisition for Colfax Corp. and SPX Flow Inc.

Based in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX, Mr. Wilcox joins HIEC from Allen Austin where he was senior partner and head of the consumer products and retail practice, working across the firm’s portfolio of services, including executive search, leadership advisory and interim executive, and coaching assignments. He was also a member of the firm’s leadership team.

Mr. Wilcox has over 30 years of experience including substantial periods with some of the world’s best-known brands including IBM, Campbell Soup, Pepsi-Cola, Frito-Lay, Quaker Oats, Tropicana, Gatorade, and Borden Dairy. Prior to executive search, he held senior executive roles including leading the national selling organization at Interstate Batteries, as well as previous roles as global chief sales and marketing officer for PSAV (now Encore), an event technology services company.

Newly Appointed CEO

Ms. Mainiero joins HIEC from ZRG Partners where she held the role of COO, managing and overseeing the firm’s global corporate activity of retained executive search and talent management across the firm’s global offices. In this role, Ms. Mainiero provided leadership and direction across the operational functions of the firm including finance, IT, HR, recruitment, and research. During her time at ZRG, she obtained private equity investment to fuel the ongoing growth of the firm. Ms. Mainiero has over 20 years of leadership experience, having previously held a number of roles including operating as an executive search partner and as senior director of operations at Korn Ferry.

The appointment of a CEO marks another important milestone in the growth and evolution of HIEC as a firm and will further support the expansion of its business in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific regions.
