Heidrick Recruits Top Posts for Brookdale Senior Living
November 23, 2015 – Heidrick & Struggles has placed Labeed Diab as chief operating officer and Lucinda Baier as chief financial officer of Brookdale Senior Living.
Mr. Diab will have responsibility for all aspects of operations, including community and field operations, marketing and sales. He has served in operational leadership roles for the Walmart U.S. division of Wal-Mart Stores since 2009, most recently serving as its president of health and wellness, and prior to that serving as its Midwest division president and general manager. He previously served as regional VP of Aramark’s Healthcare Division and as regional VP for Rite Aid Corporation.
Ms. Baier will be in charge of the company’s accounting, finance, tax, financial reporting and treasury functions. She has more than 15 years of executive leadership experience in accounting, taxation, finance and treasury functions, most recently serving as EVP and CFO of Navigant Consulting, a specialized global expert services firm, since 2013. Prior to that, she was CFO and chief administrative officer of Central Parking System. Ms. Baier also previously served as CFO of Movie Gallery, Inc. and as CFO of World Kitchen, LLC.
