Heidrick & Struggles Names Head of Global Consumer Recruiting Practice
September 29, 2015 – Heidrick & Struggles has appointed Thomas Snyder as global practice managing partner – consumer markets. He will be based in the firm’s Chicago office. Mr. Snyder joins Heidrick from boutique search firm Tillman Carlson, where he was owner and partner. Previously, he served for nearly 20 years as a partner with Spencer Stuart in its consumer goods & services search practice, where he focused on CEO, board and C-suite roles. He also led the firm’s Chicago office and Midwest region for several years.
Before he entered the search profession, Mr. Snyder served in numerous sales and marketing roles at leading consumer companies, including Procter & Gamble, Nestle, Coca-Cola and at ConAgra, where he was a divisional president.

Heidrick & Struggles’ consumer markets practice includes consumer products, retail and apparel, media and entertainment, and hospitality and leisure orientations. Since 2008, the firm’s retail & apparel team has conducted more than 1,300 senior-level and board director assignments for the retail, fashion and luxury goods industries.
