Prior to being appointed global practice leader, Mr. Boehmer served as the regional managing partner for the financial service practice for the Americas and relocated to London to run the Europe and Africa region for financial services at the firm. He also led the financial services infrastructure practice for the Americas, a practice focused on the functional areas of financial services that include finance, risk, legal, compliance, technology, operations, audit, human resources and sales & marketing.

Heidrick’s financial services practice has completed thousands of assignments and covers all major industry sectors and functions across the financial landscape. The practice was formed in 1988 and the majority of its financial services partners have worked directly in related industry.

In recent months, Heidrick & Struggles has named leaders across three of its top producing offices:

Lyndon A. Taylor was appointed head of its Chicago office in January. He is active in the firm’s financial services and CEO / board practices. Mr. Taylor rejoined Heidrick & Struggles in 2014 after spending the previous decade at Russell Reynolds Associates.

That same month, Heidrick tapped Carlos Garcia to serve as head of its Los Angeles office. He is active in the firm’s supply chain & operations search practice and work with clients in its healthcare and life sciences practice sectors.

This past October, Heidrick appointed Ron Lumbra as region leader for its Americas region. He now leads a team of more than 350 partners, principals and associates serving clients across all service sectors. Like Mr. Taylor, Mr. Lumbra also joined the firm from Russell Reynolds, where he served as managing director and co-leader for the firm’s Americas CEO and board services practice.
