HARTZ Search Recruits Chief Strategy & Business Development Officer for JPS Health Network

May 20, 2025 – After an extensive national search, Charlotte, NC-based HARTZ Search has assisted in the recruitment of TJ Grassetti as the vice president, chief strategy & business development officer of JPS Health Network.
Mr. Grassetti joins JPS Health Network from Intermountain Healthcare, where he was most recently the region vice president of strategic partnerships. Prior to this, he was the vice president of strategic partnerships at SCL Health. At Intermountain Healthcare, he was responsible for developing a governance model that aligns joint venture strategies and operations with the system’s long-range strategic initiatives. The responsibilities also required developing a streamlined yet rigorous structure for collaborating with strategic partners (healthcare corporations, physicians, real estate developers, etc.) in the building and tracking of plans and budgets designed to demonstrate positive performance and to identify growth opportunities.
In his new position with JPS Health Network, Mr. Grassetti will be responsible for overseeing system-wide strategic planning and development and managing the entire process, from plan creation to monitoring and reporting on performance.
JPS Health Network is a $950 million, tax-supported healthcare system for Tarrant County in North Texas. The network is anchored by John Peter Smith Hospital, a 578-bed acute care in Fort Worth. JPS has the only Level 1 trauma center in Tarrant County and the county’s only psychiatric emergency services site. JPS is also a certified chest pain center, certified primary stroke center and an accredited American College of Surgery cancer center. JPS has a Level lll neonatal intensive care center (NICU). The health network was named the best hospital in the U.S. in 2020, according to a new hospital evaluating system unveiled by Washington Monthly Magazine. Ranking near the top of every category, it out-scored the most prestigious healthcare organizations in America.

HARTZ Search also recently recruited Melissa Trujillo as vice president of talent acquisition of INTEGRIS Health. Mary LaFrancois and Macy Thompson led the assignment. Ms. Trujillo was previously the director of talent acquisition for Ardent Health Services, where she led the recruitment strategy for non-clinical and allied health positions across the enterprise. She aligned talent acquisition initiatives with organizational goals and drove process improvements that reduced time-to-fill metrics and improved retention rates.
