HARTZ Search Recruits CFO for Geisinger

March 4, 2026 – After an extensive national search led by Charlotte, NC-based HARTZ Search, Geisinger has selected Matt Huff as executive vice president and CFO. Mr. Huff brings extensive expertise in financial planning, reporting, and analysis; accounting services; revenue cycle management; mergers and acquisitions; strategic planning and business development; and supply chain operations. He joins Geisinger from The Guthrie Clinic where he was the EVP and CFO since 2021. At Guthrie, Mr. Huff played a key role in executing several M&A opportunities, a complete revenue cycle modernization, and the creation of foundational processes around financial stewardship.

HARTZ Search is also currently leading the chief information officer search for Geisinger. The CIO will serve as an integral member of the executive leadership team and will be on-site. They will provide vision and leadership for IT in support of the system’s mission and strategic priorities.

HARTZ Search also noted that the CIO will lead, plan, implement, and maintain IT in support of the clinical enterprise, health plan, academic enterprise, and system affiliates. They will champion process improvement and lean methodologies to execute strategic plans and achieve organizational goals. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience working and influencing effectively in a highly matrixed and relationship-driven culture.

Ms. Zhan brings deep expertise in non-profit accounting, extensive financial leadership experience, and a comprehensive understanding of grants and audit management. She joins Intermountain Centers from Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, where she served for nearly nine years as national finance director and advisor. During her tenure, she played a key role in expanding new business lines and programs across the organization, supporting operational turnarounds, and contributing to Devereux’s growing service footprint across multiple states.
