Gerard Daniels Appoints Leaders for London and Sydney Offices
May 8, 2019 – Perth, Australia-based executive search firm Gerard Daniels has appointed Rajesh Raj as partner Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and head of its London office and Ryan Mason as practice leader and head of the firm’s Sydney office.
Mr. Raj has worked with large global corporations and privately-held entrepreneurial start-ups in the U.K. He has also worked with a number of executive search firms, focused on the global energy, natural resources and infrastructure sectors, providing executive search and consulting services for complex and sensitive leadership assignments across executive, technical, operational, commercial and functional disciplines.
Prior to joining Gerard Daniels, Mr. Raj co-founded and managed London-based executive search and HR consulting firm ENR Global. Earlier in his career, he served as a marine engineer.

Mr. Mason, who has been with Gerard Daniels for 12 years, has search experience across Australia, the U.K., and North and South America. His focus is on international executive search at the board, C-suite and general management levels within the infrastructure, energy and natural resources sectors.

Gerard Daniels is CEO of Alison Gaines as CEO. Following a 12-year tenure as the head of its board consulting practice and recently as managing partner of the firm’s Asia Pacific practice, Ms. Gaines now leads the firm to continue to drive growth across all regions and offices. She works closely with the advisory board, which includes the firm’s founders, and executive management group to execute strategy and lead financial performance, business development, assignment quality, internal talent acquisition and compliance.
Mr. Mason has acted for global and national companies on searches covering general management and functional leadership roles in finance, commodity marketing, business development, human resources, and the technical disciplines of exploration, projects, operations and health, safety, environment and quality (HSEQ).
