EMA Partners Opens Office in San Francisco
January 31, 2022 – Coming out of a global pandemic, executive search consultants are seeing an increase in hiring mandates from just about every corner of the globe. To meet demand, they continue to develop new practices, hire new recruiters, and open new locations. Global recruiting consortiums, meanwhile, are taking advantage of a resurgence in certain geographic areas.
EMA Partners International, a global partnership of executive search professionals, has expanded its presence in the Americas by opening a new office in San Francisco. Deborah Hiner is the new managing partner of EMA Partners San Francisco. “We look forward to working with Deborah and her team. It is an exciting time as we expand our presence in the region and we’re happy to be present in the San Francisco Bay Area.” said Chris Pantelidis, EMA Partners regional chair: the Americas. Ms. Hiner has over 30 years of progressive experience in the technology and life science sectors conducting C-level searches for PE backed and founder led firms as well as large global brand name companies. She also specializes in partnering with start-up to well established high growth companies. Ms. Hiner has experience across all functional areas including, product, sales and marketing, technology, finance, analytics, risk management, compliance, and human resources. Her approach centers on building strong relationships with clients and candidates and understanding the key objectives on both sides.
Diversified Economy
“I’m looking forward to continuing to serve our clients in the Bay Area, as well as in other international markets,” Ms. Hiner said. “We have over 200 consultants across the globe who work with some of the most exciting companies in the world. I’m thrilled to be working with such an accomplished group of executive search partners.”
San Francisco has a diversified service economy, with employment spread across a wide range of professional services, including financial services, tourism and (increasingly) high technology. Since the 1990s, San Francisco’s economy has diversified away from finance and tourism towards the growing fields of high tech, biotechnology, and medical research.
Since 1988, EMA Partners has partnered with multinational corporations, governments, and not-for-profit organizations across a variety of industry sectors and functional areas. It has more than 40 offices on six continents, and the firm continues to expand globally.
