Coulter Partners Expands In U.S.

December 15, 2015 – Global life sciences search specialist Coulter Partners has named Elizabeth McCabe as executive vice president in Morristown, New Jersey. She joins the firm’s U.S. team, while further enhancing Coulter Partners’ international networks.

Ms. McCabe joins the firm with a focus on C-level and VP-level assignments across a broad spectrum of functions, for early stage to well-established pharmaceutical, biotech, medical technology and venture capital companies in the U.S. and Europe. With extensive search expertise in commercial, clinical development, translational medicine, regulatory and medical affairs, she draws on 15 years of senior-level executive search experience, including 12 years focused on life sciences.

Prior to founding her own firm, Ms. McCabe was partner with boutique executive search firm The RSA Group, where she worked with rapidly evolving companies in the biopharma, specialty pharma and diagnostics sectors and developed relationships with the venture capital community. Before this she was recruiting partner for Essex Woodlands Health Ventures, a leading life sciences focused VC firm with $2.5 billion under management. This followed a spell with Heidrick & Struggles’ in its global healthcare practice. Ms. McCabe has built a global network at a senior level, not only with executives in healthcare but also with world-renowned thought-leaders at top academic research institutions in the U.S. and Europe.

Coulter Partners has made a number of new appointments to augment its global expansion. The firm’s team now includes PhD and MD-qualified researchers, language proficiencies in Russian, Bulgarian, Italian, Spanish, Czech, Danish and Swedish and specialized expertise in business psychology and human resource management.

Last month, Coulter Partners expanded into Switzerland with the appointments of Graham Johnson and Helene Johnson in its new Basel office.

In October, Coulter expanded into Germany with the opening of new offices in Frankfurt and Berlin. The firm appointed Anne-Monika Dürk as executive vice president, Thomas Pilz as research associate and Dr. Christoph Themel as principal.

Earlier this year, the firm opened in Copenhagen and appointed Eskil Westh as executive vice president.

Coulter currently operates overseas offices in the U.K., Germany, Switzerland and Denmark. In the U.S., the firm has offices in Princeton, Boston and Morristown.
