Calibre One Names Leader of New Consumer Division

Working from the company’s Los Angeles office, Mr. DeAnda’s role is to lead and grow this newly formed division. He is charged with growing the practice across the country and building a national team of experts.
Mr. DeAnda has worked with founders of high-growth companies to build senior management teams, as well as with established companies navigating a digital transformation agenda. He has expertise in the go-to-market function and placements of chief marketing, branding and digital officers, and all modern marketing functions, as well as CEO/board, president and general management.
Previously, Mr. DeAnda was a partner at True Search and head of the consumer go-to-market practice where he worked in industries including fashion and retail, consumer tech, hospitality, food and beverage, gaming, entertainment and lifestyle brands. Prior to this, he was a partner at Heidrick & Struggles in its global consumer and digital practice, where he made key placements at California Pizza Kitchen, Citi, Estee Lauder, Home Depot, Nordstrom, 2K Interactive, and Walmart.
Before transitioning into executive recruiting, Mr. DeAnda was president and CEO of TBWA\ Los Angeles, working with such clients Apple, Airbnb, Nissan, adidas, Netflix, MillerCoors, Twitter, and Gatorade. Additionally, he was international managing director of the bespoke agency for Apple responsible for opening offices in Shanghai, Sydney, Tokyo and Seoul, while overseeing advertising across 14 countries. Mr. DeAnda also spent 10 years in Japan as the COO of TBWA\Hakuhodo.

Calibre One Opens Office in Boston
Calibre One has expanded with the opening of a new office in Boston. Molly A. Robb, who will head the location, has been added as partner specializing in the firm’s healthcare and life sciences practice and working closely with Christos Richards who leads the practice from the west coast. “Between Molly and Christos’ top-notch skills and experience in placing healthcare and life sciences CEOs, C-suite and board professionals, we have truly created a bicoastal dream team,” said Tom Barnes, managing partner. “And Molly’s additional expertise in the healthcare investment sector will be instrumental in adding value to our already successful healthcare and life sciences practice.”
In October, Calibre One named Harry Greenspun as partner and leader of the new innovative health and well-being practice group while expanding the company’s presence in the D.C. area. “Dr. Greenspun brings an exceptional perspective to our organization,” said Mr. Barnes. “He’s served not just the clinical side, but across nearly every industry.
