Calibre One Appoints Leader of Health and Well-Being Practice Group

October 26, 2023 – Executive search firm Calibre One has named Harry Greenspun as partner and leader of the new innovative health and well-being practice group while expanding the company’s presence in the D.C. area. “Dr. Greenspun brings an exceptional perspective to our organization,” said Tom Barnes, managing partner. “He’s served not just the clinical side, but across nearly every industry. With the health of employees, customers, partners and communities becoming critical to among healthcare organizational, Dr. Greenspun will focus primarily on placing chief medical officers, board positions, and similar executives across nearly every industry.

As a cardiac anesthesiologist, Dr. Greenspun has practiced in major academic medical centers, as well as community hospitals. Calibre One notes that he is unique among physician executives, having served every aspect of healthcare and related industries, including payer, provider, life sciences, government, technology, retail, employers and national security.

Dr. Greenspun most recently served as a partner and chief medical officer of Guidehouse. Before that, he served as the CMO and managing director of Korn Ferry Health, focusing on critical issues facing clients across the industry in the transformation of healthcare globally. Previously, Dr. Greenspun served as the managing director of the Deloitte Center for health solutions, providing research and guidance to leaders among providers, payers, life sciences, government agencies, medical device manufacturers, retailers and technology companies. In previous roles he served as chief medical officer for Dell Inc., after serving as CMO for Northrop Grumman Corporation. A former practicing cardiac anesthesiologist, Dr. Greenspun is an author and speaker. He is recognized as a thought leader in the healthcare industry and has made recommendations to the executive branch and U.S. Congress.

Dr. Greenspun received his bachelor’s degree from Harvard University, his medical degree from the University of Maryland, and completed his residency and fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University Hospital in anesthesiology and critical care medicine, serving as chief resident. He has served on the advisory boards for the World Economic Forum, Anthem, Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), Tufts and George Mason universities.

Calibre One Names Global Head of Healthcare and Life Sciences
Calibre One has appointed Christos Richards as partner, global head of healthcare and life sciences. Mr. Richards has been in executive search for 25 years dedicated to life sciences recruiting in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, devices, diagnostics, instrumentation, tools, services, genetics, genomics, proteomics, greentech, cleantech, environmental sciences, contract manufacturing, and contract research. He has led over 375 executive search and consulting projects, including more than 200 chief executive officer and non-executive board director placements, and CEO succession projects.


Earlier this year, Calibre One expanded with the opening of a new office in Boston. Molly A. Robb, who heads the location, was added as partner specializing in the firm’s healthcare and life sciences practice and working closely with Christos Richards who leads the practice from the west coast. “Between Molly and Christos’ top-notch skills and experience in placing healthcare and life sciences CEOs, C-suite and board professionals, we have truly created a bicoastal dream team,” said Mr. Barnes.

Ms. Robb was previously a managing director with BioQuest, part of the Diversified Search Group, working in both the life sciences sector recruiting senior-level operating leaders and as a member of the financial services practice where she recruited healthcare investors into public and private capital investment funds. Additionally, she has worked at Heidrick & Struggles in the healthcare private equity and venture capital practice and with Korn Ferry in its life sciences practice.
