Calibre One Names Global Head of Healthcare and Life Sciences

October 24, 2022 – Executive search firm Calibre One has appointed Christos Richards as partner, global head of healthcare and life sciences. Mr. Richards has been in executive search for 25 years dedicated to life sciences recruiting in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, devices, diagnostics, instrumentation, tools, services, genetics, genomics, proteomics, greentech, cleantech, environmental sciences, contract manufacturing, and contract research. He has led over 375 executive search and consulting projects, including more than 200 chief executive officer and non-executive board director placements, and CEO succession projects.

Mr. Richards served previously as a partner and founder of multiple boutique search firms; and for 15 years as partner/CEO with a national firm of five offices exclusively focused in life science C-suite recruiting, in all roles serving domestic and international clients. From 2011 to 2020, Mr. Richards served on the board of directors of Coherus BioSciences, a NASDAQ-traded commercial stage biosimilars company.

He’s guided sizeable, cross-functional consulting teams in the design, planning and launch of leading-edge business solutions, and in the early stages of his career, he held various CIO positions. Mr. Martinez most recently served as managing partner at DHR Global, where he focused on identifying top executive talents across multiple industries with proven expertise and a successful track record in leading digital transformation and technology modernization across multiple geographies.
