Work&Partners Seeks Chief Product Officer for Toppan Merrill

September 11, 2023 – New York-based Work&Partners has been selected by Toppan Merrill to lead in its search for a chief product officer. Founder and president Alan Work is leading the assignment. The chief product officer will join the company’s executive leadership team and will report to the president. The executive in this role will be expected to reimagine the approach to product development and establish a customer-driven and product-led mindset that is focused on enhancing the customer experience and driving value to the organization.

The CPO will lead the product development function and partner with functional areas including sales, service, marketing, and engineering to discover and introduce new products and refine and enhance existing products, further enhancing the customer experience.

The successful candidate, says Work&Partners, will be a champion for a customer and product-led digital experience that embraces transformative technology and innovation. This role will define and drive the approach to product management, with a focus on creating metrics that will guide decision making all while maintaining the utmost level of security and trust, consistent with Toppan Merrill’s culture and brand promise.

The search firm is looking for candidates that are currently a sitting chief product officer or top division product executive. They should have demonstrated success in taking products from discovery to execution, producing measurable business value as well as a track record of success in driving culture change and mind-set shifts. Candidates should have a passion for learning and innovation, balanced by business needs and customer requirements/expectations. They must have experience in navigating complex organizations and creating cross-functional teams that are skilled in collaboration across all levels of the organization. Prior experience with creating and managing budgets and ROIs is also a plus.

Ms. Sattler was formerly the secretary and CFO of Archway Marketing Services. Prior to that, she was secretary, chief operations officer and CFO of Lawrence Merchandising Services. During her tenure there, Ms. Sattler also served as CEO and board member. Before that, Ms. Sattler was senior vice president, chief administrative officer and principal financial officer for HomeServices of America. Earlier in her career there, she also served as VP, corporate controller.
