Uber Picks Hanold Associates for Head of Talent Acquisition Search
December 11, 2019 – Following a record-breaking year of recruiting top HR leadership into some of the best well-known brands across industry, Chicago-based Hanold Associates has been chosen to lead Uber’s search for a head of talent acquisition in its Advance Technology Groups unit. Ashley Schiele and Mayank Parikh are spearheading the assignment. The position is based in Pittsburgh, PA.
The head of talent acquisition role is the head of recruiting for Uber ATG. The ATG division is highly independent and has its own CEO and leadership team. The role reports to Adelia Curtis Duarte, who supports Uber’s recruiting efforts across all emerging technology as the head of recruiting for emerging technologies. The head of talent acquisition will lead a distributed team of dedicated talent acquisition professionals to further meet ATG’s needs as it scales and builds the technologies of the future.

Hanold Associates Completes Chief People Officer Search for the NFL
Hanold Associates has recruited Dasha Smith as chief people officer of the National Football League in one of the most high profile human resource C-suite assignments of 2019. Jason Hanold, CEO and co-managing partner of the search firm, led the assignment. He was joined by his partners Keri Gavin and Katrina Prospero. “Dasha is an incredibly talented leader and outstanding person,” said Mr. Hanold. “She is contemporary in her approach, authentic and wise beyond her years. She will be a great thought partner to Commissioner Roger Goodell, chief operating officer Maryann Turcke, the league office and the club owners.”
With an advanced degree in organizational psychology, Ms. Schiele leverages both organizational dynamics and skill assessment to help identify and recruit key talent. Before joining Hanold Associates, she worked as an account manager/recruiter for Kappa Search, a small technical recruiting firm based in Chicago’s West Loop. In this role, she was a full life-cycle recruiter, developing and maintaining long-term relationships with candidates and clients. Ms. Schiele has recruited candidates across industries and functions including, but not limited to, manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, IT, sales and marketing.
Mr. Parikh is focused on recruiting excellence across the human resources function. He first joined the firm as a summer intern and returned full-time after graduating from Northwestern University. Prior to joining Hanold Associates, he interned for Mission Measurement, a consulting firm that specializes in advisory for non-profits and corporate social responsibility departments at major companies.
