True Appoints Head of Talent Advisory in North America
September 18, 2024 – Global talent provider True has named Tom Granado as the new head of talent advisory in North America. With his extensive leadership advisory background, he will collaborate with Debu Mishra, global head of talent advisory, to enhance the practice’s leadership impact. “Tom’s experience helping companies strategically define what clear leadership, successful talent management, and cultural alignment looks like will be indispensable for our clients and candidates,” said Joe Riggione, co-CEO of True Platform. “After speaking to a few of Tom’s VC clients, we knew he’d built a business that values client relationships the way True does, and we’re excited for him to continue that work here.”

Mr. Granado founded his business, Atomic Talent, to help PE and VC clients deal with complex organizational challenges across their portfolios. He brings a track record, having improved go-to-market and management capabilities for companies ranging from $5.6 million to $4.7 billion in revenue. Mr. Granado also held a pivotal position on the management team at Bridgewater Associates, where he helped cultivate its renowned high-performance culture. As an advisory board member, he consulted CODA Markets’ leadership team prior to its acquisition by Apex FinTech Solutions, which joined forces to transform equity market structure.

In May, True launched a talent advisory practice and a strategic alliance with Hogan Assessments, a tool for workplace personality assessment and leadership development. At the time Mr. Mishra, partner and head of talent advisory for True, was named to lead the talent advisory practice from Dubai.
