June 12, 2018 – Chicago-based executive search firm TalentRISE has expanded with the addition of John Meyers as senior director of technology operations.
“John possesses a unique blend of technical, business process and analytical skills and know-how,” said Rick Gray, CEO of TalentRISE. “He will help us more effectively manage, measure and scale our operational infrastructure and client service delivery while identifying how we best manage the technologies disrupting our industry for both our and our clients’ competitive advantage.”
Mr. Meyer brings more than 20 years of results-driven IT strategy and management experience creating and leading technology-based consulting and business initiatives grounded in reducing risk and driving enterprise value. He formerly served as a business and technology consultant to the League of Chicago Theatres and Datatopia. Prior to that, he was senior director of business systems for Acquity Group, where he led an enterprise resource planning implementation addressing the company’s core financial, accounting and business intelligence systems, and the rollout of Microsoft’s cloud-based Office 365 environment to replace existing intranet, instant messaging and email platforms. Before that, Mr. Meyer launched and served as CEO of Elexos Corporation, an early mover in the commercial and residential control automation and IOT fields. Earlier in his career, he was chief information officer of Lante Corp., a technology consulting firm and dot.com era high-flier.
In his role with TalentRISE, Mr. Meyer is charged with managing the firm’s IT infrastructure and related business process support systems. He will lead in the evaluation, implementation and integration of various technologies supporting the firm’s recruitment service offerings.
