TalentRise Appoints Leader of Coaching and Leadership Development Practice

March 18, 2024 – TalentRise has named Kristen Fox Lampert as leader of its coaching and leadership development practice. She will focus on expanding TalentRise’s coaching and leadership development offerings, including fast start coaching and mental fitness for leaders programming. “Kristen’s thoughtful approach to coaching and leadership development is truly one-of-a-kind,” said Pete Petrella, TalentRise practice leader for executive search. “She has played a vital role in setting up our executive hires for success both in and outside of the workplace. We know that our coaching and leadership development practice is in great hands with Kristen moving forward and that she’ll continue to make a positive impact for our clients and the individuals who lead them.”

Ms. Fox Lampert has served as a talent consultant and leadership coach for TalentRise since 2019. Most notably, she developed TalentRise’s fast start coaching program, a three-month executive integration coaching program that dozens of the firm’s executive placements have participated in. Fast start coaching continues to provide value to newly onboarded executives and leaders as they navigate a new culture, engage their teams, and build relationships during their first 90-days on the job.

“Over the last five years, TalentRise has built a coaching program focused on transforming the lives of our executive leaders,” said Ms. Fox Lampert. “I feel honored to have the opportunity to build a people-centered coaching practice that empowers the leaders of today and tomorrow to cultivate a culture of self-awareness, psychological safety, and deeply trusting relationships.”

Stephanie Heys, senior vice president of human resources for Banner Solutions, a high-growth B2B e-commerce company, is one of many executives who have used from Ms. Fox Lampert’s coaching services. Ms. Heys’ received fast start coaching after being hired through a TalentRise executive search in 2022. “She found the program so effective that she continued to leverage Kristen’s insights to further her professional development after the initial 90-day engagement,” the firm said.

I am confident that her continued leadership at TalentRise will be tremendously valuable to professionals and organizations that leverage her expertise and insights.”

Reimagining Leadership

“Every business we work with is reimagining leadership, and the TalentRise team is excited to guide and coach leaders through this transformation,” said Ms. Fox Lampert.

Why Organizations Use Executive Search Firms
For many organizations, finding quality talent can be tough—and finding quality executive talent can be even tougher. While you may have confidence that your company can recruit your next C-suite leader without help from a dedicated search firm, the potential ramifications behind making a poor hire can be disastrous, according to a recent report by TalentRise. “That’s why engaging with an executive search partner presents the optimal solution to sourcing and hiring the right-fit candidate,” he said.

Peter Petrella of TalentRise offers some of the most compelling reasons why your company should engage with a reputable executive search firm. And cost savings is top on his list. Rather than spending money posting your leadership vacancy on job boards or advertisements, why not have your executive search partner execute everything on your behalf? “While sites like LinkedIn are useful when looking to fill entry-level and mid-tier job openings, many executive search firms maintain largescale networks comprised entirely of C-suite candidates that can be leveraged during times of need,” said Mr. Petrella.

As a coach and mentor partner to CEOs and leadership teams of venture-backed and founder-led companies, Ms. Fox Lampert leverages nearly two decades of experience as an HR leader in the financial services, private equity, healthcare, technology, manufacturing, and legal services industries. Her work focuses on leadership and team transformations that leverage the power of Positive Intelligence, Predictive Index, and Hogan Assessment Systems. She previously founded Parental Shift Coaching and focused on improving parents’ mental fitness through group and individual coaching programs.

Founded in 2008 in Chicago, TalentRise provides executive search, interim executive placement, and talent consulting. The firm’s talent optimization model uses data-driven insights to align people and organizational strategies for optimum performance. TalentRise supports companies in nearly every vertical — retail, manufacturing, technology, financial services, healthcare, life sciences, E-commerce, and more — with custom and comprehensive talent acquisition solutions.
