Solomon Page Grows Locum Tenens Offering with Strategic Leadership Hires

April 8, 2026 – New York City headquartered executive search firm Solomon Page has expanded with the additions of Richard Cieslak as senior vice president of business development and Mimi Simpson as vice president of recruitment. “With deep expertise in the locum tenens space and a shared commitment to connecting healthcare organizations with exceptional talent, Richard and Mimi bring a powerful combination of business development leadership and recruitment excellence to the division,” the firm said in a release. “Their arrival marks a significant step forward in the continued expansion of the Solomon Page healthcare staffing practice.”
Based in Georgia and serving a national client base, Mr. Cieslak and Ms. Simpson will lead the development and growth of the Solomon Page direct-to-client locum tenens offering. This dedicated function complements the firm’s established MSP/VMS business and represents an enhanced capability to support healthcare organizations with flexible, scalable staffing solutions.
In their respective roles, they will also work in close collaboration with the established healthcare retained executive search practice at Solomon Page, which specializes in placing healthcare leaders and has recently expanded its offering to include physician executives and clinical talent. “This cross-functional alignment underscores the firm’s commitment to delivering a seamless, full-spectrum talent solution—from executive search to full-time placement and temporary staffing,” Solomon Page said.
Mr. Cieslak previously served as senior account executive with LocumTenens.com. Ms. Simpson most recently served as director of the surgery division at DRW Healthcare Staffing.
“I’m excited to join Solomon Page and help build something truly differentiated in the locum space,” said Mr. Cieslak. “We are uniquely positioned to deliver through a distinctive approach, customized solutions, and powerful marketplace intelligence. Our complementary teams and expanded service offerings enable us to provide meaningful, holistic support.
