Solomon Page Expands Life Sciences Practice, Naming Global Leader

January 23, 2020 – Solomon Page has expanded with the addition of Luigi Frezza as managing director and global practice lead for life sciences. Reporting to president and global practice leader Marc Gouran, he will be based in the firm’s London office and drive the growth of the life sciences team globally by partnering with companies in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices and diagnostics sectors.
Based in New York City and with office locations throughout the U.S. and Europe, Solomon Page will continue to serve as a global partner in healthcare and life sciences executive search, while simultaneously expanding the company’s footprint into new markets. “Our legacy of success spans across every branch of the healthcare industry,” said Mr. Gouran. “With Luigi now leading our life sciences practice based in London, we will continue to grow our global network by providing premiere consultative services and best-in-class solutions to both longstanding partners and new clients.”
Mr. Frezza previously led the pharmaceutical and biotech practice Carmichael Fisher across Europe and the U.S. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, including time spent at Korn Ferry and Odgers Berndtson, he has an extensive background in working on search mandates across multiple functions, with a focus on senior roles in research and development, technical and commercial operations, general management as well as a broad range of corporate functional roles.
In support of this expansion, additional hires include vice president Kristen Dorn and consultant Shanon Yeow, who are both based in the recently opened Conshohocken, PA office.

Ms. Dorn has over 20 years of retained executive search experience in life sciences throughout North America, Europe, Latin and South America, and Asia. She has supported all areas of the life cycle of development such as clinical (development and operations), CMC, manufacturing, global medical affairs, pharmacovigilance, regulatory affairs, quality and research. Ms. Dorn is re-joining Solomon Page, having previously worked there for nine years. She had previously worked with two international retained boutique search firms.
Ms. Yeow has over 10 years of experience in executive recruitment in life sciences, identifying and recruiting strong, difference-making leaders across the U.S., Europe and Asia-Pacific. She has supported all areas of drug life cycle of development including drug discovery to clinical development, CMC, manufacturing, global medical affairs, pharmacovigilance, regulatory affairs, epidemiology, HEOR, quality and research to commercial operations. Over her career, Ms. Yeow has a track record of consistently completing assignments with fast timelines and strong, gender- and racially-diverse candidates. Prior to joining Solomon Page, she was a consultant with a globally established specialist life sciences executive search boutique firms in London and in the U.S.
