Saxton Bampfylde Forms Alliance with Executive Coaching Firm Praesta

November 11, 2019 – U.K.-based executive recruiter Saxton Bampfylde has formed a new partnership with executive coaching firm Praesta Partners. “The innovative partnership is part of continuing work by Saxton Bampfylde and our global partners across Panorama Search to expand our leadership services offering, which includes board review, executive assessment, team development and talent mapping,” the search firm said.

Praesta Partners coach senior leaders including CEOs, main board directors and management team members and other key executive talent. Clients range across several hundred organizations in the private and public sectors. The firm’s entire team has had senior-level careers before becoming coaches.

Executive coaching can be an invaluable tool for leaders and their teams to challenge thinking, stimulate creativity and build confidence. “The best business coaching has dramatic effects on the performance of individuals and therefore on organizational success,” Saxton Bampfylde said. “By bringing together many decades’ worth of respective experience in executive search and leadership development through this new alliance, we will continue to support and enable leaders to achieve their full potential in an ever-changing environment.”

Stephen Bampfylde, founding partner of Saxton Bampfylde, stressed that leadership services is a key area of focus for the firm and its global partners. “We strongly believe that our role in finding and placing the very best talent for our clients shouldn’t end when they start their new job,” he said. “We want to ensure they are given the best tools to help them make their role a true success. Executive Coaching plays a huge part in that, so we’re delighted to have the opportunity to partner with Praesta, a company whose values are so closely aligned with our own.”

“While we have a phenomenal resource in-house, the combined expertise offered by our leadership services team working alongside Praesta’s experienced coaches is an unrivaled personal development proposition across a broad variety of sectors,” he said.

Executive Coaching

Peter Shaw, one of the founding partners at Praesta, said that executive coaching focused on enabling a leader to be effective in a new role has tremendous benefits for both the individual and the organization they are working for. “Coaching enables an individual to be clear about how they are going to address the expectations upon them and where they are going to be able to add most value,” he said. “Focused coaching significantly increases the speed with which a new appointee builds the knowledge and authority which enables them to be fully effective.”

“We are delighted to be partnering with Saxton Bampfylde who have an outstanding reputation for the quality of their search and leadership consulting work,” said Mr. Shaw. “Together we will provide a responsive, authoritative, and highly effective leadership development service in a multiplicity of sectors.”

Saxton Bampfylde, founded in 1986, works with clients ranging from FTSE 100 companies and blue-chip multinationals, government and academia to foundation trust hospitals, arts institutions and not-for-profits. The search firm has recruited new leaders for clients that include ACS International Schools, Kingston University, the David Ross Education Trust, Wycliffe, ACS International Schools, King’s College London, the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts and the General Dental Council, among others.
